Great fire pit are along the river behind the Lodge and Kimberly was wonderful. She gave us a great tour of the property. But almost no restaurants open on Monday evening.

Amazing hotel stay! I stayed during off season so it was fairly empty. My room was incredibly clean and QUIET! I slept like a baby. The hotel room had such a classic āwealthyā vibe to it. Very luxurious in a modern way. Staff was friendly. Parking was great. Only semi bad experience was the restaurant on property (inside of the hotel) - food wasnāt the best and very expensive. (Although my bartender was very nice)

Unfortunately I arrived late and left early (it was a business trip), but I had one drink at the bar, gave the menu a thorough read, and saw enough to say that I will definitely be back on my own terms for a longer stay! Great spot!

I stayed in the "Spring Room" this visit. It was spacious, near the coffee station and had a relaxed yet beautiful decor.
A breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, coffee, muffin, omelet, bacon and home fries was served by a lovely hostess.

Staying there was like traveling on time and we were avle to learn about the history of the original house and famous bridge in front. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and cozy. The staff very responsive and kind. Breakfast served was delicious and fresh.

Nice inn located in a 200 year old house. Rooms with comfortable beds, no tv, but they do have WiFi.
Food is very good and the couple that owns and runs the inn is very friendly and accommodating.
Some quirks like squeaky floors and no locks on the doors just add to the charm. Nice fireplace and outdoor deck. Coffee is excellent too.

This place would be great during busy periods. Do not hesitate to stay. Would be cute and fun for a ski lodge barn vibe and everything is brand new. As is the case... theres currently a reliance on texting for communication, check in check out, etc and they are totally upfront about this. Simply one should know it is very no frills. Beds are great!
