This was a solid hotel for the price. It was conveniently located (both to attractions and to food options, public transit was also nearby). The rooms were small and the hotel is on the older side, but the rooms were clean. Some of our rooms had balconies and those balconies had great views.

This is an older hotel but the location is excellent for easy access to most of Sofia’s sights. Everything was clean and the kettle, tv and fridge all worked. For the price paid this was a really good stay

Hello. Here is the reason why I am giving a **** for the place we just visited. The location is great to excellent, almost in the heart of the city. The hotel is old, but it has been renovated to some extent; it is very clean, and it offers all you need as amenities in the room. The bathroom is OK; the old-fashioned plastic tub must be removed/replaced with a shower cabin; the beds/mattrasses were twin-size; I recommend all rooms be furnished with at least queen-size beds. The personnel were very friendly and offered you a great quality of service (for example, a taxi was there in less than 4 minutes). The breakfast was very good, with a great selection, fresh, and a good time frame for service. You cannot use the room phone even for local calls in the city. A lot of coffee shops, restaurants, etc are around the area; you will be never hungry and thursty. TV works well with a variety of channels in different languages. So, I would recommend the place and choose it with confidence.

Old place, and it looks worse than how it looks in the photos. However: (1) decent breakfast, (2) clean rooms, (3) excellent location within the center of the city, (4) excellent price.

The Slavyanski Beseda has a terrific location in the center of Sophia and is accessible to all of the major attractions. Its reasonable price and helpful staff make it very attractive. It could use an update, is acceptable.

Great stay--we walked most places, don't forget Bf

The room was larger than average with a great bathroom. A/C kept the room comfortable. We loved the breakfasts, which did change a little each day. The TV did not have any viable channels though. We did not have a room with a view, but also did not find morning sunshine to keep us from sleeping in. The staff were all friendly, helpful and concerned that our stay was going well. Also, their tip that seniors above 65 yo ride public transit for free was very helpful. This was a tremendous location. Some of the best restaurants and shopping were all within walking distance as was the main history museum. Many different cuisines to choose from as well.

Hello Breakfast not the biggest selection but enough and good. Air condition was good but had some noise but low. Staff was friendly. The room vs clean. Balcony was big. the location was good The big - was the balcony next to my clean it take the junk away ruins the wiwe . i did also a safety recommendation to the reception staff . Management you can ask the reception staff or send me and i will tell you. But all of all a good place to stay.

The hotel was ok for the price around the center of Sofia. The staff was helpful when asked questions. The only problem I had was leaving my laptop at the reception safe. Was told I can pick it up any time before 10pm. I went to get it at 9pm and the receptionist was on 5 min brake that stretched to 30min. The security guard felt bad for me and actually had to go fetch the receptionist from the nearby store. Almost missed my train because of it.

O quarto é amplo. Banheiro é escuro. Água quente acabou no meio do banho em um dos dias. O cheiro de cigarro na roupa de cama e no quarto é forte. Bem localizado, mas região um pouco barulhenta no fim de semana a noite. Internet funcionou bem.
