My stay at Hôtel de la Rive was generally pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient for a short visit. However, the ice machine was out of order, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, a decent experience with room for small improvements.

It’s a nice place for vacation, beautiful amazing view, friendly employees, good customer care, the spa is wonderful relaxing special we love it, as the hotel is accessible to a lot of activities as the restaurants especially Le Belvédère that is the most beautiful restaurant in Sorel Tracy, and many other places like the marina, le dôme and the shopping centers

The hotel was good, with the steakhouse/bar being a highlight. The wait staff in the restaurant were great. The room had a nice view, but the 4th floor at least seemed like it was in between renovations, with modern features mixed in with dated furniture and appliances. The hallways were very dimly lit. The king bed was very comfortable. Overall a solid experience.

Didn't experience the spa but it looked like an amazing amenity. Restaurant was excellent; great food, good atmosphere, lovely waterfront view. I know the rooms are gradually being updated but what really needs an overhaul is the hallways, which are very dark (black walls, black ceiling). I had a billing issue in which I was accidentally billed an astronomical amount for "upgrading" from 2 Double beds to 1 King, but when I called the management they were more than happy to resolve the issue with a reimbursement. They fixed it swiftly and courteously. Would stay here again!

The white walls is a very basic color. The main door is partially damaged. In the bathroom, there’s a tablette above a small sink, making it a bit difficult to brush your teeth. The furniture is new. The shower/bath is new. The tiling is new. The curtains creates a complete dark room. Very clean. The carpet looks a bit old, but not worned and is very clean. The bed is ok.

Overall, it was an average stay. The hotel seems to rely heavily on being the only option in the city, which shows in the value and amenities. Checkout is fixed at 11 a.m., and unfortunately the ice machine wasn’t working during my visit.
