"Our first blended family trip was a great success.A big thank you to Edie at Floatin’ and Boatin’ on Lake Gaston for being a fantastic host and providing the perfect place to relax and enjoy a weekend on the water.We spent the weekend kayaking, wakeboarding, swimming, playing games, enjoying good meals, and catching a few fish—although the biggest catfish of the trip managed to get away.The house had everything we needed, but we have to give special recognition to the bed. We travel quite a bit, and it was easily one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. After full days on the lake, there was nothing better than sinking into that bed at night.We truly enjoyed our stay, appreciated the hospitality, and made some great memories along the way. If you’re looking for a place to stay on Lake Gaston, we highly recommend it.Thanks again, Edie!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home over the Christmas holiday. The scenery was incredibly peaceful and made for the perfect family getaway. We especially loved spending time fishing together—it was relaxing and created some great memories for our family.The home itself was well maintained, comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home. Our kids had an amazing time thanks to the thoughtful amenities provided by the host, which kept them entertained and happy throughout our stay. Even our pets were able to enjoy the space, which made the trip even more special for us.Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we are very grateful to the host for providing such a welcoming and enjoyable place. We would absolutely recommend this home to families looking for a peaceful and memorable stay."
