"Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable, tubs and shower tile looked recently upgraded. Biggest issue is the AC units didn't really keep the room temperatures very consistent. They have to constantly turn on and off. Our room either had a musky smell that seemed somewhat like mold and seemed to come from the AC unit. I asked to switch rooms but they were booked. A lot of the charging ports did not work and the WiFi was too slow to stream anything. That was frustrating when traveling...

"I found the front desk staff to be abrupt and unhelpful on the telephone. They were nice in person. I was in the annex building on the fifth floor. I stepped off the elevator and the floor had a moldy odor. The room was old but clean in appearance but was very moldy smelling. The sink and tub didn’t drain and the air conditioner was extremely loud. The hotel did send maintenance up who kindly cleared the drains and opened a window which helped with the mold odor but made for a very loud night...

"The name "Midway Airport" is misleading, as this hotel doesn't really have anything to do with the airport. The parking lot is also quite small. I do want to recognize the young man working the front desk on the night shift. He had outstanding hospitality skill, he was professional, welcoming, and genuinely friendly.
