"We like breakfast being included. It wasn’t fancy but included eggs & a waffle maker along with the usual continental breakfast items. Coffee was very weak but we got instant to add to it. I reported that the bathroom sink didn’t drain well on the first day (5 day stay) and it never got repaired."

"This was perfect! Private lake, clean, pool. If there’s one thing I would say is that it’s REALLy more of a family place, so if u want isolation or quiet, prob won’t be the best but we loved the cottage feel, SUPER clean, location. Everything was great!"

"This cottage was adorable and perfect for my stay. It is small, but it had everything that I needed. I especially loved the screened in porch. The art throughout the cottage is quirky and led to many interesting conversations. The location is perfect and close to everything I needed. The beach is lovely with many amenities, including a play structure for children and kayaks. There’s also a basketball court near the beach and a wide expanse of grass perfect for games or picnics. The pool is beautiful and clean. I loved the serene setting- it felt very private. I especially appreciated the excellent communication with the host who saw to my every need! I highly recommend this adorable little cottage for your next getaway!"

"We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely consider coming back. Our group included my husband and me, our 3- and 6-year-old daughters, my 70-year-old mom, and my sister's family rented the cabin next door, so it was the perfect setup for a multigenerational family vacation.The biggest highlight is the location. We made full use of the pool and spent time paddleboarding on Goshorn Lake every single day. We rented bikes and highly recommend it—we biked into downtown Saugatuck, which made avoiding the downtown parking hassle so easy. We also rode to Oval Beach. The location made it incredibly convenient to explore Saugatuck, Douglas, and Holland, where we spent an afternoon bowling when wildfire smoke kept us indoors. If you're traveling with kids, don't miss Express Yourself Art Barn in nearby Fennville—it was one of our favorite outings.The cabin itself was very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for our group of 10, the washer and dryer got plenty of use after swimming and beach days, and the air conditioning kept every room comfortable during a very hot week.The only area that could use some attention is the cleaning. Overall, the cabin was tidy when we arrived, but we did find a few pieces of broken glass on the floor, which was concerning with young children, and it could benefit from a more thorough dusting and occasional deep clean."
