"The hallways left something to be desired/there was a slight smell, however I think it just may be in need of an upgrade because the room was phenomenal. It more than exceeded our expectations and was very clean and modern looking compared to the hallway like i said. The room we got had a balcony with a beautiful view of the marina which was a nice surprise.
The elevator was a little slow, but that is not a big deal just an observation. If I return to Charleston I would certainly book here...

"This property was great for our visit to Charleston. Close enough to everything, but far enough to not feel crowded. We loved the little park across the road. It was a great spot to watch the sunset!"

"We had an excellent stay here in Charleston. Great location for walking around. Incredibly comfy bed! Would definitely recommend. It is a bit noisy in the area at night, just a heads up for light sleepers. Otherwise an excellent spot!"

"Beautiful location on the marina. Pool area an added plus. Staff all friendly and helpful. Loved having room refreshed daily. Convenient location for all the sights but definitely need a car. Recommend highly and would stay here again. "

"We were thoroughly pleased with the hotel. The atmosphere, staff greetings, the grounds, and food options were top tier. Everyone was eager to assist and were very patient while showing awesome professionalism. We will definitely be going back!"

"Good - Rooms was large, beds comfy, no noise and AC was ice cold. Not so good - pillows flat and shower doors leaked on floor.
Staff was awesome and breakfast was very good with many choices.
Parking was an inconvenience as it was across the road in a different structure.
KFC and McD next door but everything else a mile away.
We would stay again!"

"The wife and I wanted to be close to The Battery and Old Town for our 4 day mini-vacation. Holiday Inn Riverview was perfect, just less than 10 minutes away. The view of the river and harbor from our 9th floor room was awesome!! The staff was so courteous and helpful. The restaurant at the top floor was wonderful and again, the view was fantastic. The hotel was clean and everything in order. It was also quiet. The bed was comfy with extra pillows. The ONLY complaint I could have was the elevator...

"We loved staying at the Nicolas. The room was so cozy and comfortable and the lobby was equipped with seltzer and snacks. Great location but off the main drag so the hotel was very quiet. "

"I had an excellent stay at The Iris. The suits are well appointed and clean. Beds and pillows are very comfortable, towels are plush, kitchenette is well equipped and basics as oil spray, sugar, creamer and coffee are provided. The Dyson hair dryer is a plus. There’s plenty closet space, a TV in the sleeping area and another on the sitting area. For $25 a night they provide carrousel parking onsite which is very convenient. The area feels safe and very convenient to dining and shopping yet quiet...

"My wife and I stayed for 4 days in Charleston using the Hotel Richemont as our home base. Everything we wanted to see and do was within a 30 min walk. Parking downtown did not seem to be super easy to find so this made parking the car an easy choice. The few times we needed it the valet was super friendly and always willing to help. We would absolutely stay here again. "
