"Really wonderful place to stay close to White Sands National Park. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful. The included breakfast was outstanding. I see why the reviews for this place were glowing--simply a wonderful value. My only complaint is that the curtains could do a better job to block out the always-on light in the motel parking out; if you need pure darkness to sleep, bring an eye mask."

"The first room we were hosted in smelled of animal urine but after asking for a different room it was much better no smell present. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. You really are just paying for a place to sleep so price wise it is appropriate. Entrance could use a little tender loving care with cleaning up the sidewalk area but people should respect the property and not think they can clean it up if I made the mess. Big downfall was TV/Cable system motel wide is not working even after I read a review posted two weeks earlier that it wasn't working, but I was able to stream on my device for my 86 year old mother who watches a lot of TV but not optimal as I didn't have the shows she really likes. Desk chair not very comfortable to sit for long periods of time. They offer a very limited breakfast so if you are needing something more than cereal, donuts/muffins along with apples, bananas, bottled juice, Coffee or Tea it is either go to the IHOP next door or choose somewhere else to stay. Did not use the pool so cannot comment about that."

"The location is excellent for the families visiting Carlsbad Caverns. The only restaurant close to the hotel closes at 3pm so travelers should be prepared to drive a bit. The breakfast offered by the hotel is very basic, cereal, coffee juice and muffins. For the price, comfortable beds and clean."
