"We really enjoyed our stay at the General Palmer Hotel. Our room in the Palace Wing was great. It was the last room available so we were a bit apprehensive since it wasn't in the main hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised. We wouldn't recommend for those having a problem with steps, however. The hot brunch was also good."

"We really enjoyed staying in one of their canvass cabins. It was clean, nice looking and perfectly sized for what we needed. The property is just amazing with the creek and the pond, my kid had so much fun fishing and playing with the other kids on the grounds. We loved staying here and hope to come back again. The only suggestion I have to offer is adding some kind of cooking device as we can’t always grill the food (on a shared grill that was never available) and we certainly can’t roast hotdogs every night over a fire so a way to prepare some food would have been nice. We made it work, but it would just be a nice thing to offer future guests I think. Other than that, this place was absolutely amazing and we certainly didn’t let a minor inconvenience get in the way of loving every minute of our stay there."

"Thank you for hosting my family and I! We all had such a great time on the property! Plenty of amenities and very close to convince stores and downtown. The Cabin we stayed in was well equipped with what we needed. Plenty of sleeping room, comfortable beds, pillows and sleeping sofa. Everything was clean and we had more than enough clean towels! Overall I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for more of a “camping” environment. Overall we will be staying here again!"
