"Sketchy area. Clean room. Not worth it."

"I highly advise you not to stay here. The photos of the property are old and most show the main part of the building which burned down in 2025. The section left is not shown in pictures but is very run down. I was afraid to stay with my family for safety and cleanliness reasons. We also had issues with the pickup from the airport. We called to request a pickup and were told 10 min. The problem is they do not take down your name or anything so large groups kept pushing ahead and taking up the seats. After 45 minutes we had to approach the driver and let him know we have been waiting and he let us on despite an angry group of people offering to pay him to bump us off. It was unsettling and my children were afraid. They need a much better system. The only positive is the owners seem kind and doing the best they can. Unfortunately, the hotel should probably be torn down it is so bad."

"An older but perfectly adequate property. Location was perfect for taking the train to Whittier for our cruise. BIG PLUS - Free transportation from the airport AND to the train station the next morning. VERY convenient if you are going to Whittier to board your ship. I would definitely stay here for that purpose again. Breakfast was good. Safe and clean."
