"A Hidden Gem in Lincoln Park
From the moment we arrived, Villa D’ Citta felt less like a “bed and breakfast” and more like a lovingly curated home away from home.
We stayed in the Caesar Room for one night—and though our stay was brief, it left an impression that will bring us back with our families.
The Room & Ambiance
The Caesar Room was beautifully appointed: tasteful décor, plush bedding, thoughtful touches. It felt private and comfortable, yet part of the larger personality of the inn. The common areas—lounges, garden terrace, and the fireplace in the lobby—invite you to linger, sip, read, or simply relax.
Delightful Extras
What really made the stay special were the small but generous touches:
Free wine and a tempting spread of snacks available to guests
An open kitchen that felt like a cozy gathering spot
The warm, attentive hospitality that made us feel right at home
The Breakfast: A Marvel
The highlight of our stay was breakfast. Gina, our wonderful host, prepared a meal that was nothing short of spectacular—fresh coffee, Italian breads, seasonal fruit, and home-cooked specialties. Everything seemed prepared with love and care, the perfect way to begin a day in Chicago.
Final Thoughts & Future Plans
In sum: Villa D’ Citta is a rare find. It balances elegance and comfort, charm and professionalism. Our one night in the Caesar Room was unforgettable. We are already planning to return—with my wife, and next time bringing my parents along.
