Welcome to Mike’s Place!
This cute 1 bed / 1 1/2 bath cottage is in a prime location. 1 block from the beach, short walk to the pier one way, and a short walk to restaurants and shopping the other way. They also have a golf cart.avalable.Everything you need is right around the corner.
At Mike’s Place, hidden behind the bamboo fence, you will feel like you are in the island all by yourself. Walk through the gate and enjoy your oasis right in the middle of everything. From having breakfast at the Tiki bar, to sipping coffee on the open themed front porch, to watching some TV in the living room after a big day at the beach. You may be cooking up a great meal with the fully stocked kitchen. And when you get ready for bed there is a gorgeous walk-in shower with plenty of room & a seat in case you had too much of a day.
Close the curtains, climb into the comfy bed and sleep as long as you like with blackout curtains – who knows what time it is. But maybe you’re just not ready for bed yet. One great thing – open up a bottle of wine, light up the gas propane fire pit, and relax and enjoy each other.
Jump into the hot tub that will get you feeling better than ever with its jets that hit all those sore spots so you can be refreshed & do it all over again. Enjoy!
Pet Fee = $125 per pet. 2 pet max. Minimum Age to Rent is 25 years old - this applies to all guests with the exception of multi-generational families.

The primary renter agrees to exercise extreme caution and care when using the hot tub on the premises. The renter is responsible for any repair charges resulting from damage caused by the renter, their family members, guests, invitees, agents, or employees.
The renter further agrees that all individuals mentioned above will shower and clean their feet before using the hot tub. It is also agreed that NO oils, bubble bath, soaps, other liquids, or harmful materials will be used in the hot tub.
No glass products are allowed in or around the hot tub. Our hot tub is inspected and cleaned before every stay. If any prohibited items, such as soaps, bath products, food, alcohol, etc., are found in the tub, a cleaning fee of $75 will be charged. Any damage to the hot tub cover will result in a $400 charge. The cover must remain on the hot tub at all times when not in use.
The renter agrees that there will be no horseplay in the hot tub and that they will not sit on, jump on, or misuse the hot tub cover in any manner.
The renter must report any problems with the hot tub within 30 minutes of arrival by contacting the host.
There are 2 Locked areas on property: 1. Closet in Kitchen to keep supplies in 2. Storage cabinet for supplies & tools
There are 2 deck boxes. One is located in front on right side of house The beach chairs & beach items are stored here for your use. Please rinse sand off and let dry before returning items. Second one is located on back deck and cushions for chairs are kept here. Please return after use
Please be sure to shower before entering hot tub. Sand, suntan lotions, and spray tans will affect the PH Balance causing unnecssary maintenance that you will be charged for. This maintenance is time consuming and extremely costly to owners.
What to Expect: All Residences Are Furnished With: Toilet Paper Soap Paper Towels Sheets, Blankets, Towels, Pillows, Wash Cloths Television(s) Glassware, Cookware, & Flatware Air Conditioning & Heating Major Appliances (Microwave, Oven, Stove, Toaster, Drip Coffee Pot & Keurig, Iron) Washing Machine & Dryer
Behavior: Loud or unruly behavior is strictly prohibited. Management reserves the right to evict, without refund, any person who creates a disturbance or becomes a nuisance.
Age: One individual in each party must be at least 25 years of age and occupy the property during the entire reservation period.
Smoking: Our property is designated non-smoking. Smoking inside or outside with doors/ windows open, will result in a minimum charge of $300 for additional cleaning.
Occupancy: We prohibit more than 5 (five) unrelated people from occupying our residential property. The named reservation holder must occupy the property for the entire duration of the reservation period.
Management reserves the right of eviction, without refund, for unauthorized occupancy.
Mike's Place is to be used as personal vacation rentals only. You shall not assign or sublet said premises, or any part thereof. You agree to abide by all Glynn County rules and regulations and all homeowner association covenants or conditions pertaining to the rental residence. Further, weddings, events, and other gatherings that exceed the stated maximum occupancy for a property are strictly forbidden. Failure to comply shall be cause for eviction without refund.
Utilities: Rental rates are inclusive of all utilities including internet, electricity and/or gas, local telephone service, basic cable television, water, sewer, and waste disposal. Interruption of utilities does not warrant refunds.
However, management will make every effort to resolve such interruptions in a timely manner. Stays greater than 30-days in length, are subject to an excess utilities surcharge when utilities are significantly higher than average due to their occupancy.
Beach Rules: Glynn County Code of Ordinances sets the following regulations for beach usage: 1) no glass containers, 2) no motorized vehicles, 3) no littering. Animals are prohibited on the beach from 9:00am to 6:00pm, Memorial Day through Labor Day. At other times, animals are permitted and must remain in the owner's immediate control. Animal owners are required to clean up after their animals on the beach at all times.
Max occupancy 5 humans (includes children and babies). This is a Glynn county Short Term Rental Ordinance Requirement, not personal preference. No parties, neighborhood quiet hours 9 pm to 8 am Please put umbrellas down when not in use and use provided furniture covers when not in use, nothing worse than sitting on wet cushions!
We provide beach chairs/cart /cooler and ask to please rinse off after use and put back under the stairs in a neat and orderly fashion for the next guests.
Tampering with or disabling security cameras, wifi router, or security system will result in immediate eviction with no refunds.

Loved our stay at Mikes place. It was clean, comfortable and a terrific location. Very relaxing and the hot tub was great. Our host was very responsive. We would stay here again.
Place was super clean and conveniently located to restaurants, shops and beach. It was very dog friendly and the hot tub was amazing. I will definitely go back.
There was much to like about Mike's Place. The property is small but was perfect for my wife and I and our pup. It has great character and is a lot of fun, but what's best is the location. You can be sitting on the beach in less than five minutes or walk to some really great restaurants in less than 10. And all the fun of Mallery Street is only a mile away. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
Such a wonderful place to stay! Has everything you need..or even think you need. Close to everything yet you feel like you're in your own oasis. Love the outside area and great grill!!!
This is our favorite vacation rental! The location close to the beach is ideal! We love the hot tub, gas grill and beautiful kitchen. We travel with our Golden Retriever and the property is very dog friendly. Mike is a great host and we look forward to coming back!
Mike’s Place is the overall best place we have stayed. Everything was clean, pots, pans and dishes in great shape. Everything well labeled in the house. Close to restaurants, short walk to the beach and less than a 1/2 block to a on leash dog park. We will be back for sure.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mike’s Place. The home is in an amazing location on the island, steps to the beach, amazing restaurants, bike rentals, and a quick bike ride to the pier. The bed was very comfortable and the host is super kind, relaxed, and responsive. The kitchen has a great large fridge, new oven, and plenty of space to prep food and drinks. The rental has a washer dryer that was awesome to have after quite a few days adventuring around the island.The jacuzzi is amazing and a great place to relax after a day at the beach. The outdoor bar area is super cute and a lovely place to hang out. There’s an outdoor shower and the property is fully fenced and perfect for dogs! We loved opening the windows and letting the cool ocean breeze flow into the house. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Mike!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were clean, tidy, and private. The house is accessible to the beach and nearby restaurants. I would reccomend staying to any small family.
