Great Home Close to Beach.
Hodnett Cooper is pleased to offer this well located home at 412 Union Street. This comfortably appointed beach cottage is nicely decorated in a casual, comfortable, and modern style. Very charming!
Situated on a quiet street within a short walk to the beach and several restaurants, 412 Union Street is located within 0.15 miles of beach access. The screened back porch is the perfect spot for enjoying the morning paper and great afternoon naps.
Entry into the main house is up an exterior staircase as the lower level is a 2 car garage. The main house consists of two bedrooms, which share a tiled tub/shower combination, a generously sized living room, separate dining room, and kitchen which opens to a small rear yard. A separate guest cottage in the back on the ground level has one bedroom and one bath is a bonus for those extra family members!
Pets under 35 pounds permitted with a non refundable $150 fee.

It was amazing. Such nice people with a great condo and view. Walk from the beach. Perfect getaway!!
This was the perfect location! You could walk to all of our favorite restaurants and the beach. It was only me and my husband, but the property would be ideal for a small family or a family and in-laws. The guest cottage was just as well equipped as the main house.

Cute little place
Clean and comfortable, reasonably well stocked. Guest house was nice touch. Never given code to lockbox to get key. Property manager did not answer calls. Had to break into lockbox to get key. Oh, well.

Only sleeps 3 - 4 possibly but not 6
My grown children and I rented this place for the weekend and saw that it advertised that it sleeps 6. One took the queen size since they can't sleep without a lot of room and they snore, a daughter and I took the twin beds and that left my son the pull out couch. The padding on the pull out was very flimsy and he said that he felt like he was sleeping on top of monkey bars the whole trip. There was only one extra thin "blanket" available for him to cover up with but it was small. He ended up trying to use all of the beach towels that we brought to both pad his mattress and help cover up with. Fortunately, he is only 20 and recovers quickly. We could not get the couch to fold back up so I doubt that it had been used in a while.
In the "what to expect" email that we received prior to arrival, it listed that What to Expect:
"All residences are furnished with: a starter supply of toilet paper, a starter supply of bar soap, one roll of paper towels, etc." There were no paper towels, but we had brought a roll anyway.
Other than that, it was in a great location, the screened in porches were nice and there was ample supply of dishes, cookware, and updated appliances.
Initially impression was good. However, there were many "lack of maintenance" issues as the week progressed. Probably a fire code violation was the lack of a cover over a wall socket in the bedroom of the little house. Also, refrigerator was would not close, looks like it has been forced open too far. Vegetation outside the little house is in great need of pruning.
The Big House had two (2) screen doors that are falling off their frames. In addition, one has screen torn loose. The ice maker did not function at all, there were cockroaches (Roaches, not "Palmetto Bugs") in the kitchen and wasps in one of the bedrooms. Also the seat in one of the dining room chairs was split.
My daughter had planned on discussing these issues when checking out. I just wanted to follow up on them.

Only complaint; the master bedroom mattress was terribly uncomfortable and blackout blinds for the master bedroom windows would be great.
