"We were upgraded to a larger room (by simply asking). Typical German Hotel room (smaller than what US folks are used to, but clean with good-sized shower. Breakfast was truly excellent, with a terrific combination of typical German (fresh rolls, cut your own cheeses, cold cuts, and more) and US (very tasty scrambled eggs) - all with as much coffee as you could drink (and I do not mean coffee with an Italian name). Would stay there again!"

"The room was clean and it was organized on a daily basis. The location is very convenient, in front of the main train station and 2 minutes away from the Lufthansa Bus that drives you to the airport. The options of the breakfast were diverse and delicious and the waiters were very friendly and willing to make you happy, same with the bar staff. Is at walking distance from the main tourist attractions. I’m very happy with my election, I would have appreciated if they had coffee machine in the room, but anyway I can say if I go back to Munich, I’ll stay at the Eden Wolf hotel. "

"Torbrau has a great central location - one block from the Isator train station, 3 blocks from Marienplatz. If you are looking to have a great vacation without a car, it's a perfect place to walk the Old Town. Good restaurants abound, bike rentals available right around the corner (Mike's Bikes, great people to work with). A short bike ride to the English Garden, where beauty awaits. The best part of Torbrau is their staff: EVERYONE is genuinely pleasant, always helpful to get you what you want/need. It's the oldest Hotel in Munich, so it has smaller rooms than the newer chain hotels, but it's the employees that made a difference for me!"

"Location great, clean hotel, but staff do not Respect clean/do not disturb instructions. We stayed 8 days and room was only cleaned once, despite leaving sign on and notifying reception."
