  • Trailhead Lodge 3102 is a luxurious three-bedroom condo with floor-to-ceiling windows to let you all enjoy unparalleled valley views no matter where you are. This family-friendly mountain escapade features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and all the cooking essentials. The living area features comfortable furnishings, a gas fireplace, and access to the private balcony. The condo has four flatscreen TVs, a DVD player, and free WiFi for your enjoyment. There is also a private washer and dryer (detergent provided) for your convenience. The main bedroom features a king bed and an attached bathroom with double vanity and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom also has a king bed and an additional attached bathroom. There are two twin beds in the third bedroom and another full bathroom. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. The home features newly upgraded furniture and mattresses.

Located less than three miles from the heart of Steamboat Springs and all of its wonderful dining and entertainment options and trailheads, this is the perfect place to be!

Great spring break

The Wild Horse property is excellent. I love the location. The shuttle service is great. Gondola to the base are is awesome. Woul like it to stay running until 6:00 or 6:30 but otherwise was awesome

Couples Getaway

Beautiful unit - very clean - great location. Each couple had a private room w ensuite bath. Beds were comfortable and unit was outfitted very nicely. Easy 5 minute walk to the tennis and pickleball facility. Huge pool and three large hot tubs. Secure indoor parking garage. Great pizza/Italian restaurant across the courtyard.

Spring break trip - No Hot Water

No hot water in the building for 3 of the 4 days we stayed. Totally unacceptable for any accommodations let alone paying rates 3-4x the usual rate for spring break. Front desk had multiple excuses but offered no resolution.

Great space for small family and grandparents.

The space is very very well laid out. Very nice beds and furniture in the living room/dining room. Unloading your truck/car and bringing things up the elevator to your room was very easy. No stairs to manage! Balcony overlooks multiple views of the adjacent mountains as well as the pool and Jacuzzis. Love the sliding doors, opening up the living area to the full balcony. Safe for two-year-old to hang out on the balcony and come back in the condo without full-time supervision, even though you always keep your eye out with a little ones. You need to be patient with a hot water. It will come, but it takes at least 10 minutes of running showers and faucets to get the hot water to the far end unit. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall great spacious condo for family of five

Great location, clean. And spacious. Comfortable beds; robes were provided. Two of three hot tubs were not hot/not working during our stay. Hot water for showers took a very long time (5 minutes). Parking garage was very small and was full one night, resulting in us parking on the street.

Nice place for the family

This was our fifth visit to Steamboat Springs as a family, but our first at Trailhead Lodge. There's lots to enjoy about the property and unit 3102, and few things to be aware of. The "good": - Trailhead Lodge is in a great location. Easy access to the main road. - A great pool and 3 hot tubs on the property. - We enjoyed using the game room as a family and the kids enjoyed the free video game systems. - Outdoor grill and fireplace available for family gatherings. - Room 3102 had lots of sleeping options and 2 king beds. The "just okay": - The beds in room 3102 were not the most comfortable. - Two of the three bathrooms in 3102 had rainfall showerheads which the women in our party did not like. - Property checkout time is 10am. You can pay $75 for a late checkout. - There is a lot of new construction going up around the property (May 2022). Noisy during the week and the views are mostly of construction sites (3102 faces South and West). - Hot tubs overlook a street, so they don't seem as relaxing. All in all, we were happy with our stay, but we'll probably look elsewhere to achieve the feeling of getting away from it all.

Great condo in a great location

Great condo in very good condition. The complex is very nice too. Fantastic pool and hot tubs. There is a lift outside the front door but we were there in the summer so I can’t speak to how one gets home after a day on the slopes. The condo was well equipped can clean. No maintenance items besides a shot of oil needed on the huge wall of doors that open onto the great deck. The views are good but there is construction across the street impacting the once fantastic view. Still good but a bit different than originally pictured. Would rent there again.

Great place to stay!!

Our family of 6 really enjoyed this condo rental. The condo was beautiful with great bedrooms and bathrooms. The deck was really nice with a great view of the pool. Location was also really ideal.

Trailhead lodge review

Overall the property was very nice and comfortable. The problem was, the front desk service was terrible. The person that was In of charge of checking us in was very short in her manner and not knowledgeable about when our room would be ready. We sat in the lobby for 3 hours without an update or any communication. Additionally, the TVs in our unit did not work. Despite multiple calls for them to be serviced, we spent the week without tv. Which at this price, is completely unacceptable. When we called to ask for help, they asked if I had unplugged, and then plugged them all back in??!! Really? Other than the woman at the counter and the TVs, everything else was great.
