"Excellent Hotel, relaxing atmosphere, attentive staff, lovely rooms and first class food."

"Front of house staff were best thing about the hotel. Decor was outdated & bed sheets smelt. The gym was the worst gym I’ve ever been to, wasn’t even x2 of some of the weights. Really needs addressing if the hotel is advertising a gym as an facility"

"Room was clean and well appointed. Excellent sound insulation. Bed good but pillows a little hard. Breakfast fin. Brasserie bar gets very busy in the evening. Parking very reasonably priced. "

"The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I had a comfortable sleep but the negative was that there was a plumbing issue in the morning so there were problems in the kitchen so we were unable to take a shower in the room and also unable have breakfast which we had paid for. Therefore, we checked out earlier than intended And drove home. When we called the hotel to say that we left and didn’t have breakfast, the member of staff just said oh,very sorry but it was only an hour and we did then serve breakfast. which I found very disappointing."

"The room was so clean, check in was very easy. The room had more than enough amenities. lovely bathroom and a great sized tv. Would 100% stay there again. Only small down was you could feel in the king bed where two single had been pushed together, which could be fixed with a mattress topper. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there."

"I had booked for 2 adults and 3 teenage children but when we arrived we found that there were only beds for 4 of us so one of the kids had to sleep on the sofa in the living room. There had been some extra bedding left in a wardrobe but it looked like it had already been used. There was only 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel between 5 of us. I asked for more towels but none were brought to us. There was no plug for the bath. There were only 2 dinner plates and 2 side plates. Overall not a good experience. Luckily we were only using it as a place to sleep so we could spend the day in London. "

"Four poster bedroom poorly lit and unwelcoming in general Draft excluder needed in chimney of largest bedroom Couldn’t close the doors of the twin room effectively So many don’t s in the instructions meant it felt very uninviting "

"2 day stay . Very bad smelling room even after 2 days with window open. Its clearly been lived in by a smoker and a sock was still covering the smoke detector. Really uncumfortabke beds and dirty stained sheets and matress. No lamps no cups, spoon or coffee. Even had to tune the telly myself. Very strange types walking around the corridors would not recomend. Staff were nice enough when i spoke to them. Im not the complaining type so just loughed if off as a bad experience never to be repeated. It was cheap, it was a room and close enough to airport as my doughter got flights cancelled and was stranded for a couple days. Litterally just used it to sleep in. Shop close by and family living a couple streets away"
