"There were ants in the kitchen drawers and seemed to appear from nowhere if you brought out food. There was a bit of a walk to the nearest shop, up and down hills. Not ideal for carrying things like water etc. We had to get taxis everywhere. Not great for anybody with mobility issues. On the plus side, you are right beside the beach which has places to eat, canoes, sun loungers and even a masseuse (all at an extra cost). The place was clean enough but could do with some maintenance such as towel rail fixing to the wall properly for example. Sandra was lovely and very friendly and spoke brilliant English. She works very hard, that much is obvious. On the surface it was fine. There are 4/5 maybe more apartments inside a secure compound with parking for your car (if you have 1) and you can only get in with a key or a fob. So you feel safe at night. The 2 bed apartment we rented was very small with 1 room having a double bed and the other having bunk beds in quite a tiny room. "
