"Very nice hotel. Enjoyed my stay with a few exceptions. It was nice to have a Nespresso coffee maker on each floor. The water station was nice too. One problem with the coffee maker was that it was not working on any level one of the 3 days I was staying. Not sure if they have a plumbing problem, but the smell at the door of my room was not pleasant, but luckily did not permeate to the room area. "Our three night stay at the Francis Marion Hotel was very pleasant. A very good value compared to other hotels. It is an older hotel but well appointed. Great staff. The restaurant was not fancy but the food was very good and reasonable. There is a $20/ night parking fee.we used Uber and the bikes to get around."

"Overall the hotel was great. Clean, comfortable- except for the a/c. We had suite with a living room area. You couldn’t adjust the A/c, it didn’t work well at all. The room was humid and so damp. The one in the bedroom worked well, but it didn’t help the living room area at all. We had to buy a fan to keep on all the time to be comfortable .
