"Great place to stay while in Viet Hai Village. Comfortable rooms with excellent a/c, good shower and comfortable beds. The food was amazing, no need to eat anywhere else. Fast laundry service. The gardens around the property were beautiful. The best part of our stay was the help we received from the manager, a young guy named Chilly. He took care of all transportation to and from the village, including transport back to Hanoi. He also booked an incredible Ha Long Bay day cruise for us and has extensive knowledge of the nearby national park walks. The room rates are also excellent value for money. We highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of coming to the area."

"Perfectly located with views to the Bay, great shopping options including shopping centre with a large department store and quality restaurants, including a wonderful vegan/vegetarian restaurant within 5 ma walk. The room was spotless, the bed linen white and crisp and plugs for electronic appliances located on headrest. Light switches within easy reach once in bed and lots of natural light which could be controlled with double lights. Breakfast was adequate with a number of choices, from fruit to cereal, yoghourt and cooked savoury dishes. Best of all it is eco friendly."

"Cat ba Serena homestay was an amazing experience. Our family of five felt so comfortable, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Linda was very responsive and instrumental in organizing a full day boat tour which did not disappoint ( we even saw the endangered langur monkeys sleeping on the cliff). Our second day we rented motorbikes from The homestay and explored the island including caves within the national park. Our kids especially enjoyed the food at the homestay- amazing spring rolls, fried rice , and slow cooked pork and eggs. Thank you so much Linda and staff at Cat Ba Serena for making our stay so memorable!"
