"When looking for a place to stay in Fayetteville, everything was too expensive for my short trip so I chose The Star on Spring in Springdale which is literally down the street. It was so convenient! The hotel is on a side street in a cute town square area. Plenty of food options and shopping in walking distance. The hotel check in is easy with a code to the front & back door as well as the room. The hotel was very clean and stylish and looks fairly new. No windows inside the room made sleeping quiet and nice! Would definitely stay here again!"

"We only stayed one night but for what we needed it was just fine. The room/bathroom was clean and the beds were comfy. Check in/out was simple. The gentleman working the front desk was welcoming and friendly."

"Our stay was comfortable and pleasant and the breakfast was good. We paid as we checked out and the bill was as expected. But we received another bill for the same room and time frame, that was almost 2ce as much as the one we paid. I will follow up on this surprising error."

"Front desk check‑in delays —Front desk employee did not have working login credentials to check-in arriving guests. Four families waited approximately 40 minutes while staff attempted to resolve issues. At 6 p.m. on Friday, May 8, the team appeared unprepared for system changes and password resets. Restroom access denial — During extended wait, a family member requested to use a restroom and was told it was unavailable because it was being used as a supply closet. Unclean rooms — Rooms were not properly cleaned. Microwave was visibly dirty. Bugs throughout the room — Bugs and flies throughout the room. The ceiling had smeared, uncleaned insect remains, and dead bugs were found on the floor with no cleaning supplies available to address them.Persistent smoke odor — Smoke was consistently noticeable on both first and second floors despite hotel being designated as non‑smoking. Reported to front desk, but no action was taken. Hotel employees were observed smoking directly outside the front entrance, which may contribute to the odor. Inadequate towel availability — The room was supplied with only one washcloth and two bath towels for two guests, with no hand towels available. The next day, no clean towels were provided unless dirty towels were returned first, which is not acceptable for guest comfort or hygiene. Trash removal issues — Trash was not collected, and no additional trash bags were provided for overflow. Disability accommodation failure — I did not receive it."

"Nothing to write home about. Basic accommodations. Bed was fairly comfortable with attractive room. AC and Heating buttons were missing so impossible to adjust. Somewhat shabby outside physical appearance. Cold breakfast. Unhealthy Coffeemate creamer for coffee which itself was ok. Adequate and safe appearing parking right outside one’s door. The television and room phones were not working and staff indicated this was a common problem. Really? Was overpriced for such minimal offerings. Would not recommend."
