"The apartment itself was very nicely decorated, clean, and a beautiful space overall. However, we did run into an issue with the hot water. The shower knobs take a little time to figure out, and we later learned from the host that the unit has a small water heater, which can run out quickly. When this happens, it can take up to 45 minutes for the water to heat back up. Since the space has two double beds and can accommodate multiple guests, this could be inconvenient if several people need to shower back-to-back. Otherwise, the apartment was lovely. "

"I truly advise spending a bit more money and staying elsewhere. This is beyond a ‘you get what you pay for’ type of experience. The worst issue with this entire experience is that the cleaning crew was not made aware of my late checkout that was verified and came into the room without knocking as I was undressed.. Before my arrival I asked about an early check in and was not given a clear answer so I was waiting outside the property for a response as there is no type of front desk which is fine but inconvenient. Upon following instructions and getting to my room, I was given a room that had not been cleaned. Towels on the floor and trash everywhere but luckily I was able to be moved to a different room. The gentleman over the phone was nice and the hotel is in a pretty good area but it was a horrible first impression and I am still awaiting a partial refund or resolution for the situation. The rooms can be a little confusing so I had multiple people try to get into my room with an incorrect code which does not help my anxiety as a solo female traveler. The toilet was running for quite some time after every flush and overall I would avoid this micro hotel and stay somewhere more established. Considering I was in an ‘upgraded’ room because of the initial dirty room, it’s just not worth it when you take everything into account. As I am checking out today my experience is now much worse with poor communication from staff. Please stay elsewhere, a motel 6 would be 10x better than "

"Complicated check in . Over 15 bags of trash on the porch that stayed there my entire stay. FILTHY BEDDING . FILTHY CURTAINS. NEVER AGAIN . And there was a room in the building full of teenage kids “hanging out” "

"Very welcoming, kinda annoyed that we had picked the location for the free parking and terrace, trying to be respectful of the smoking policy and both needed to be shoveled out. We were understanding as we got a lot of snow, but that was a week prior, however if you're charging people for these amenities itd be beneficial for it to be accessible year round"

"The things that were awesome about this Vrbo rental include awesome water pressure (and ample HOT WATER) in the shower, comfortable beds with extra blankets available if needed, plenty of towels, roomy bedrooms (space for luggage!), and an updated and adequately stocked kitchen. The house is … historical? I loved the wood floors and the interesting architecture of the older home. The host communicated well and often.Two aspects of our experience form the reason for giving only 3 stars when so many things about the house were positive. First is the furniture in the gathering spaces (living room/dining area). There was only one large piece of furniture for seating in the living room. I suppose it could fit 4 bodies if we were all lined up, but it would be weird, and not conducive to conversation. The stools at the dining table were okay for quick meals, but they were essentially the only group seating options, and they were a bit stiff and uncomfortable after any length of time. So, adding more furniture so guests can hang out together comfortably would easily turn this into a 5-star experience!The other issue we encountered was relatively minor, and very likely a one-off kind of thing. We could not get the electronic door lock to work. I believe the host said there was a recent software update or something like that. There was a contingency plan already in place - a lock box on the door containing a house key.I appreciated free parking (it’s residential)."
