We had a great weekend away. Perfect location. It was so lovely to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the view. The bedrooms were spacious and the main one was large, and also had amazing views. The kitchen was very well supplied. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely view, well appointed with everything needed to have a stress free stay. The bedrooms are not all equal in size and amenity but all are very comfortable.
This property was excellent with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The views are stunning and we were a short walk away to the beach and some shops along the main road.The entrance is a bit hidden, but after driving up to the address and getting out on foot we found it. The driveway is a bit steep, but we master it very quickly. Overall a very pleasant stay for our group of 6 people.
Great property to stay at, well appointed and owner very obliging

Liked: Cleanliness
The property was spacious, clean and the beds very comfortable with plenty of bathrooms. A very well equipped kitchen and views of Pittwater were stunning.
We loved our stay. The front verandah with its spectacular views was amazing. Location is perfect. You could walk to the bay and the local cafe. Douglas the house host gave us clear instructions on how to find and access the house.
Lots of space with a great outlook and a well equipped home
Lovely place to stay and would go back tomorrow. If I had any negatives, at times the road noise was a bit annoying

Mediocre property for price
Property had lovely views, drive way difficult
House was dated and needed upkeep. Needed better cleaning - had a musty smell
House was open upon arrival , which was a concern
Very nice house with 4 bedrooms with a wonderful large balcony overlooking Pittwater. We did spend most of our time on the balcony watching the boating activities. We could park out 4 cars on our property which was good. The driveway was steep but we did know that beforehand. Very nice long weekend with family and friends

Paradiso house stay
We enjoyed the area and the views, however the house itself was not very clean and needed a lot of maintenance. Although it was set amongst the trees and we had expected a few leaves to fall down, it had obviously not been inspected before our stay. The outside deck had spectacular views but it was spoilt because the railings were covered in spider webs and the pergola area/roof was covered in leaves, sticks and in parts mould. The outside furniture was very tired along with some of the furnishings inside. The beds were comfortable and clean but there was mould in the bathroom and shower areas and there were very limited toiletries supplied for the guests who had travelled from the UK for a family wedding. This was such a shame and we were very disappointed because we had paid the premium rate for the area and it had had some great reviews online. We felt this house was far too expensive given the condition the property was in when we arrived. It looked like nobody had been there for months and that they had not inspected the property previously to ensure that it was in good condition for our stay. The driveway was extremely steep with access for other houses on the way up the hill. This made the property very inconvenient to access as we had four cars in the driveway. This would not have worried us had the spider webs outside been cleared away, especially for when we arrived home in the dark. Unfortunately, we were all very disappointed and will not be back again.
This is accommodation is in a fantastic location with amazing views across Pittwater. Property was clean and well equipped, with plenty of mod cons. The winner was the large deck overlooking the water. A must stay if you're heading to the area.
Thank you for hosting us Douglas. You have an amazing property there. Fantastic location and a very homely place. Everything you need for a a great time away with friends. Everything at your fingertips or doorstep. We felt like we'd been living in Paradiso from the second we arrived. We will be back.
Amazing location. A little hard to find. Maybe a “Paradiso” sign at the bottom of the driveway would be good. Very comfortable and clean. Walking distance to the bay and restaurants.

Good for a casual family beach holiday
The house has fantastic views of Pittwater. There's a few aspects of the house which are getting a little tired. However the master bedroom was lovely and and the living / dining room was the main feature. They could do with a new and larger fridge. It's old, very average in size and takes a whilst to chill down. I'm not complaining. The kids had a ball, a good teenage den downstairs next to garage for them to hang out. Whilst parking is requested beside the house, this was most difficult and I'm a good driver. The driveway and garage was fine for 3 Cars. Most guests said they would love to go back and I guess that's the best endorsement I could offer. The owner is friendly and helpful with open communication. Thanks for some great memories. Just a few things are getting a bit tired with the place. All in all a fun beach holiday. Cheers.
Great property with a fantastic view, ideal for the boys wedding photos. The new balcony is spectacular, all bedrooms are very comfortable., the welcome basket was a lovely idea, highly recommend.
We really needed a break, and wow did we get it. A beautiful stay, water views, and the house was immaculate. We left after a week feeling more like ourselves.
We really enjoyed our long weekend at Paradiso. We spent most of our time on the verandah looking at the beautiful view. It is by far the best stocked rental property we’ve ever stayed at, from the coffee beans in the cappuccino machine to the bottle of wine and chocolate in the welcome pack! The only negative is the traffic noise from the surprisingly busy Barrenjoey Road below, but this eased off in the evening so it was not an issue for sleeping.
We stayed a weekend at Paradiso and it was just as described. The views are spectacular and the house is well laid out, spacious, and very well equipped. Perfect for a group of friends or extended families. The deck is new and it's just lovely. The house is in a great location with beaches and shops only a few minutes away.
The main reasons that I've given 4 stars are that
(1) we were unable to use the main bedroom due to a spider sac hatching prior to our arrival and many small spiders were on the ceiling/floor/furniture etc. Doug (the owner) called me back as soon as I let him know of the problem (which was appreciated) and of course wasn't in a position to do anything at that time other than suggest that we spray the entire room with pesticide. The room is very large (normally this would be a huge plus) and we felt it would be quite toxic to do this. So we didn't end up using the room and instead some of us took turns sleeping on one of the couches. While the spider situation was out of the owner's control, we were effectively left with a 3 bedroom house instead of a 4 bedroom house, which definitely affected our experience, and there was no suggestion of any alteration to the price we paid;
(2) the downstairs bedroom definitely has a damp/mould issue which you can detect as soon as you walk in (the garage does too). We tried to air the room as much as possible but it never fully went away;
(3) Some rooms (e.g., the middle level room) don't have fly screens on all windows/doors and that further reduced the opportunity to maximise airflow (given the upstairs spider situation we were wary of letting more insects in. In summer/wet weather there would potentially be a mosquito issue)
(3) Most things were sparkling clean, however several of us noticed that the windows really needed some attention with many cobwebs inside (sometimes with large things caught in them), and cup/drink marks on windowsills etc.
Overall it was a lovely stay and I think many of the above issues raised are easily fixed and won't be an issue for future guests.
