"The Salty Mermaid was the perfect place for our group of 6, including 2 teens. We loved gathering at the big dining table for dinners and games. Kitchen was stocked with all the equipment we needed for the week. Great walking distance from the dock, but especially close to the beach. Host was prompt to respond to messages and check in/out could not be easier! Highly recommend this property on LGI for cleanliness, location, and great communication. "

"It's hard to have a bad time on Little Gasparilla island. Having a great host always makes it better. The condo was great and the host was great as well. John was very responsive to any questions and their condo was great. The location was great and the condo was beautifully done. "Lisa and Chris are great hosts. Picked up our grocery order and delivered it to the condo ahead of time. Picked us up in their golf cart. We had to cut our trip short due to an emergency and they were more than understanding. Definitely recommend staying with them. "

"We had a wonderful stay at H10! Tip to future renters, wait to go shopping until after you see what's all in the unit. We bought so many needless things as this unit already had them! Location was perfect. The beach wagon and golf cart were a blessing for sure! We hope this unit will be available when we return to the island in spring!"

"Everything was as described. The host, Kristin, was more than accommodating. She even saved our dinner one night by dropping off some things we forgot. If you’re looking for somewhere to just relax, this is the place. Just note, there is some planning ahead involved due to the ferry. All in all, we would definitely stay again. "

"This is a beautifully decorated and comfortable home in a perfect spot about 100 yards from the beach or docks. We loved the kitchen/family room where we could all be together while prepping meals and in the late evenings. We ate in the screened in porch (really important given the big situation in late July) with a beautiful view and played family games in the late afternoon during quick storms.This host is wonderful. Warm, responsive and generous. We had the pleasure of meeting her on our way into the island and you can tell she truly cares about your experience, the island and sharing it with others. The house is well stocked and has pretty much all you need for your stay which is important because there’s no where to grab them from in a pinch. LGI is a dream of you’re looking for a (semi, you still have internet and cell service) complete break from the busyness and distractions of mainland. The natural beaches are glorious and filled with shells and wildlife - with very few people to distract. Don’t miss the glorious sunsets on the beach, which was my favorite part of our stay. The people on the island are also wonderful and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the folks at the golf cart rental place who were kind and really helpful to my elderly parents. The meal planning and groceries require some pre thought as there are no stores on the island although groceries can be delivered which is helpful and I’d recommend having them delivered "
