    LOCATION
Telluride Lodge 338 is in the Town of Telluride, on the west side of town. Telluride Lodge sits on five acres of lawns and trees, with the San Miguel River Trail along its edge for walks, runs, and bike rides that can start at the door. Clark's Market is about an 8-minute walk, the free gondola about 11 minutes, and Main Street's restaurants, galleries, and shops about 13.

    SKI ACCESS
Walk about 11 minutes to Gondola Station Telluride at Oak Street, or ride the free Galloping Goose from the Carhenge stop, about 5 minutes from the condo, to the Gondola stop. Lift tickets are sold at the station. Ride the free gondola to San Sophia Station to ski (a lift ticket is required to get off there in winter), or on to Mountain Village, where the Telluride Ski & Snowboard School is based. At the end of the day, take the gondola back to town and the Galloping Goose home. The 2026-27 ski season is scheduled for November 26, 2026 to April 4, 2027.

    THROUGH THE SEASONS
Summer: the San Miguel River Trail runs from the Lodge east to Town Park, home of the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in June, and the Telluride Farmers' Market fills South Oak Street on Fridays from late May to early October. The free gondola rides up to hiking and cross-country biking trails at San Sophia Station. The private deck off the dining room is the place for breakfast outside.

Fall: the aspens usually peak in late September and early October, and Telluride Blues & Brews fills Town Park in September. The gondola runs into late October.

Winter: besides skiing, Town Park has ice skating and the Telluride Nordic Center's groomed trails, reached on the Galloping Goose. Snow on the ski slopes fills the dining room windows.

Spring: skiing runs into early April, and the gondola usually reopens for summer in late May.

Our Telluride condo was great. The location was just a few minute walk from lift 7. Beds were comfortable (a must). The kitchen was well-stocked, though small. And the management was friendly, helpful and prompt when needed. Thank you for a great stay.

Family Trip to Telluride

Great location to walk anywhere in town. somewhat dated, but met our needs. lots of stairs, The spa tub jets did not work and the lights in the spa tub/shower were apparently burnt out, but not a big deal. Great size for our family of five with plenty of room and beds. Lots of stairs in the condo , so be prepared. check in during the daylight hours; it is pitch black at night and very hard to find after sunset.

Large condo, tight kitchen.

Our family had an amazing visit to Telluride for a summer stay. Walking distance to everything in town with the path just across the street and the goldola just a 10 min walk away.Condo is an older building and it shows with old windows and occasional plumbing issues. The kitchen sink clogged and was unable to be fixed during the last day of our stay making using the already small kitchen impossible.

Every time I stay somewhere, I hope it feels like home. This time, on the first day, the host gave me the property manager's number. After the second day, I realized the heat at night wasn't great because it kept turning off during cold Telluride nights. Also, the kitchen had old, used sponges, which was gross. And the dishwasher was broken. I tried to reach the property manager, but they didn't get back to me until the afternoon before we left, when everyone was on the mountain. To save money, we tried to cook, but there was no spatula, which is pretty important for cooking, at the VRBO. The owner and property manager never really apologized. I think I deserve a discount for all this. I never thought I'd be cold at night or have to wash all the dishes by hand with dirty, used sponges during my stay. It really made VRBO and the property look bad. Also the property advertises that the location is near lift #7. Which is true. This was a deciding factor during the time of booking. However lift 7 doesn't start running until after Dec. 25 of every season. This detail should be added to the property description in bold print. We had to take the shuttle back and fourth instead of being able to take lift 7.
