"Had a lovely warm welcome and explained everything clearly upon arrival. Room was in the main building and had so much character. Bathroom was huge and stylish. Breakfast was good on the whole and checkout was easy."

"The room was well equiped with everything we needed as well as being spotlessly clean. It was especially nice to have a big screen tv, a fridge and ironing equipment as well as a digital bedside clock. The air con worked really well. The breakfast was really nice with a good selection of items for full english as well as contental. The only thing we were disappointed with was the bacon which looked very tasty but didnt taste very nice at all. The sausages however, were excellent. The hotel is only a short walk from the station and is very close to many shops, pubs and other attractions."

"The hotel is very interesting with it's prison history, though that is also slightly a hinderance. We were in the Houses of Correction and it didn't really feel part of the hotel, you had to leave the main hotel travel across the courtyard to another building that actually felt a little bit like a travel lodge heading to our room. The staff were amazing though, from check-in, to room service, to breakfast and checkout - So absolutely nothing to fault there! I'd just recommend requesting a room in the main part of the hotel as that might be better than what we had."

"We had a wonderful stay at The Store. It is perfectly situated in the center of Oxford. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was far more than the usual American continental breakfast with several nice options you can order from a menu. The onsite restaurant was great and the rooftop bar was a bonus with an amazing view."

"We only stayed one night and it was an okay enough experience, the staff were friendly and room clean, with ample parking. The amenities in the room were also good for our needs and really nice having some outdoor space. The on site pub was really nice and cosy with some board games which was nice to spend a relaxing evening playing. My main issue is the upkeep, the pillows underneath the cases looked a bit worse for wear, there were scrapes on the walls and a bit of paint scraped off in the bathroom had left the plaster showing, the shower didn’t drain properly and filled up on the bottom and also was a little grim, maybe a regrout needed or just a deeper clean. Also a bit of drainage issue with sink plug but we managed to sort. The floor tiles in the bathroom also looked dirty, they were clean but it may have been the style or left over grouting so a bit off putting. Lastly the sound insulation was a bit poor and could hear the rooms either side. For one night it’s not bad but I may have been more bothered staying longer. It’s a nice place just a bit of TLC needed at least for our room"

"Convenient location with plenty of parking (albeit £8 per night), clean & tidy, very good buffet breakfast as well as lunch and dinner dining options. Unfortunatley our room was one floor above the gym and we could hear every grunt and thump and footstep on the treadmill, so make sure to check! Other than that would have no hesitation in returning."

"Good room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom and good shower! I couldn’t get the TV to work so suggest some instructions should be provided. "
