"My wife and I stayed for 4 days in Charleston using the Hotel Richemont as our home base. Everything we wanted to see and do was within a 30 min walk. Parking downtown did not seem to be super easy to find so this made parking the car an easy choice. The few times we needed it the valet was super friendly and always willing to help. "Great hotel in the middle of downtown Charleston. Very walkable area. Rooms were quiet and beds were comfortable. Valet parking rate at $60 a night is our only compliant. I think its way too much to charge guests $60 a night for parking and then have to add gratuities on top of that.
We liked the hotel and choose it because it also had a pool, restaurant, bar and mini market. We did use all of those and we enjoyed those amenities. "
"I had an excellent stay at The Iris. The suits are well appointed and clean. Beds and pillows are very comfortable, towels are plush, kitchenette is well equipped and basics as oil spray, sugar, creamer and coffee are provided. The Dyson hair dryer is a plus. There’s plenty closet space, a TV in the sleeping area and another on the sitting area. For $25 a night they provide carrousel parking onsite which is very convenient. The area feels safe and very convenient to dining and shopping yet quiet...
