"The room was very well appointed, lots of space with a huge bathroom in the Spa Suite. Breakfast was plentiful though there were no warm plates for the cooked breakfast. Nice airy open bar area and orangery where food was served. Debbie on reception gave a warm and friendly welcome. We would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Great long weekend at the cottage, which is very well equipped, though as we read a lot we needed the main lilghts on in the sitting room to do so in the evening - small point. The shower head could do with some attention as it slipped down its shaft! The cottage was spotlessly clean and overall very comfortable.Though next to the pub it was very quite, with a lovely outlook over the village green and war memorial. We were priviliged to join in the remembrance service.We found a great pub for sunday lunch (yum!) - The Elm Tree at Elmston."
