"We stayed at the Hotel Du Vin on our wedding night. We checked in online which was a very quick and simple process.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a suitcase which we wanted to take to the hotel prior to checking in. This was absolutely no problem and as our room was ready, we were able to take the case to our room far in advance of normal check in time.
When we returned to our room, a bottle of bubbly had been provided which was a lovely touch and gratefully...
"The location was perfect, and the hosts were very kind. Breakfast was exceptional! I would definitely stay here again. It is close to a pretty walking path where my daughter discovered a playground that she really loved. We are so happy we stayed at Avonpark House. Highly recommend!"
"It is a beautiful, historic building across the street from the Swan and Royal Shakespeare Theatres and next door to an historic pub. Everything is walkable in Stratford. We took a great walking tour from the beautiful park that included the church Shakespeare attended and is buried in. One note, there is no elevator in the hotel and our room was on the 3rd floor. They had very nice young people carry our bags up and down for us, but be aware! Very pleasant and accommodating staff, good...
"The hotel is in a perfect location, really close to the park, river, shops and restaurants. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The hotel bar was also lovely with an amazing outdoor space and breakfast had a good choice of food and catered well for dietary requirements.
The rooms are really nice and comfortable, although the sofa bed was a bit battered. The only real complaint was the noise from the air con unit in the room which was very loud and rattled, but everything else about...

Arrived at check in time of 4pm and had to call the number to get owner to let us into room. Hard to get shower colder, owner let us use upstairs bathroom meant for another (vacant) room instead.

"Very convenient in the middle of Stratford Upon Avon. 10min easy walk from train station. Friendly staff. Comfy room and bed. Stairs are steep so if you have mobility restrictions could be a little awkward but not many steps and I had no issue with it. Some noise in the morning around 7.30am with keg delivery for the pub downstairs which woke me but if you're an early riser that wouldn't be an issue and was niyand peaceful the rest of the time. Overall an excellent stay and I'll be back!"
"Clean, comfortable apartment in a good location. The only thing missing was shampoo, which is not a big deal but would be helpful for overseas travelers who haven’t brought things like that because of liquid restrictions on flights, or are traveling light. But the room was very nice overall. "
