"The room was clean but not at all shown in pictures, it was like low class motel not a 3 star hotel. The only saving grace was working AC since it is very hot in Marrakech and the location as it is in centre of the city and walking distance to malls and restaurants."

"From the moment we arrived, the staff couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. The room was comfortable and spacious. A few minor maintenance issues but nothing that affected our enjoyment. The breakfast was varied and fresh and plenty of it. The pool was unheated as expected, but a refreshing relief from the heat of the city. The pool area is beautiful and a tranquil oasis from the busy medina."

"I am extremely disappointed and concerned by my stay at this property. The photos on the website are a false interpretation of the actual room, which was filthy upon arrival with visible dust and grime. More importantly, this hotel is a serious safety hazard. The kitchen had a non-functional stove with live, exposed wires, posing a severe risk to guests and children. The room was not as described, and the lack of basic maintenance is unacceptable. I strongly advise travelers—especially families—to avoid this property until these life-threatening issues are addressed. I have reported this to Hotels.com If you want cheap hotels, your better of staying in a hostel which offer safe andbclean environment"

"Don’t expect too much from this hotel if you are used to staying in Ibis hotels. This is no where near the standard you would expect from the Ibis brand. The general condition of the corridors was poor with dirty carpets. Our room was not good with a low standard of decoration, only one bedside table, one chair and very basic storage. There was no safe in the room although I was fairly sure the room description on Expedia suggested there was a laptop safe. When we asked the reception staff about the location of the safe we just got a shrug. Power points were located away from useable surfaces. The towels were thin and usually decidedly grey! On checking into our room on the first night we found the towels neatly folded but already wet and obviously not fresh. They were changed quickly when we asked at Reception. The only saving grace was the excellent cleaning staff who changed our towels and made up the bed everyday. The bar and breakfast area was better than the rest of the hotel and although we didn’t take breakfast it looked like there was a good choice and it was well presented. There is a pool but we never saw anyone swimming in it. The hotel has a sign outside suggesting there is a restaurant but other than breakfast we were unable to purchase a meal. The best thing about the hotel is its location, which is close to the railway station and within walking distance of the city highlights, restaurants and shops."

"The hotel is very beautiful with absolutely stunning gardens – the grounds really make a big impression and create a wonderful atmosphere. The food is very good and the staff is polite and friendly. However, you need to be very careful with room location. Rooms not facing the garden are very noisy, which can significantly affect the stay. Communication by email is also quite poor – we never received replies to some of our emails, including one regarding flowers that were delivered to the hotel and were unfortunately of very poor quality. Overall, we have mixed feelings. On one hand, it is a wonderful and impressive hotel, especially because of the gardens. On the other hand, small issues like noise and lack of email communication negatively affect the overall experience. We would still recommend the hotel, but strongly advise choosing a garden-facing room and confirming important requests in advance."

"Room clean and had everything you need and more …. Had a full candy dish and Nespresso machine! They gave baskets of water and cakes at night. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was about 1 km from Medina but nice clean safe area and we never waited longer than 5 minutes for Uber. Highly recommended! "

"Great stay! Free upgrade to a suite! Plenty of choice at breakfast. Huge pools. Area is very walkable into the Medina there are taxis out the front waiting of you do need one. I would stay here again! "
