"We recently stayed at Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui and loved our entire experience. When booking, I was considering the Anantara or Garrya. After having dinner at the Anantara, so glad we chose the Garrya and didn’t fall for the white lotus hype of Anantara. We stayed in a beachfront villa overlooking the ocean and pool. Spacious, beautiful, peaceful and private. All 5 of our senses, from sight and taste to smell and feeling were so well catered too. Food and drinks were amazing at the restaurant. Staff were super friendly and remembered all our names. They even carefully stored our son’s medication in the kitchen’s commercial refrigerator, which was such a relief. I also loved the signature Jasmine & Green Tea Essential Oil provided in the room/spa. Management if you’re reading this, coulf you tell me the manufacturer or fragrance supplier and whether guests can purchase it? After five nights, I truly left feeling like we stayed with family and can’t wait to return."

"The room view was just as in the picture- gorgeous. We loved having a private pool. The included breakfast was amazing, and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. It felt like maybe they don’t get a ton of families with kids, and there seemed to be a little confusion given our booking was for five people, including three kids (rather than four people), but it worked out. For Samui itself, we recommend using the Grab app to get around and order in food, as it’s not very walkable between places."

"Some construction ongoing which we would have appreciated being informed about, however the staff more than made up for this with their excellent and very professional service. The facilities are excellent, spa is fantastic and the location is brilliant. Special mention to the staff at the level who could never do enough for us and somehow remembered our names on each visit. Can’t wait to return! Paul and Brendan"
