Quirky old building with low ceilings and original features. Unfortunately looking a bit tired and our bed had a broken slat in the middle making it pretty uncomfortable. Breakfasts and check in was great just needs new furniture. Also very close to Trebarwith strand, just check for low tide!!

Staff helpful and friendly, breakfast was nice and enough choice for us, dinner was really nice and good value and the room was clean but just needed a bit of extra attention in the bathroom. But for the price paid and location we were more than happy.

Great surroundings good food and staff polite. Only drawback would be the noise but then we was sleeping in a pub. And they did supply ear plugs in the room with a note to say potential noise.

Staff friendly and helpful. No true amenities. Two small bottles of a "bath/soap" liquid" in bathroom. Windows in both room and bathroom in room had tree leaves, branches coming in side and difficult to shut without moving the branches out of way . Mattresses were in need of updating were lumpy and and very uncomfortable. Outlet for plugging in phone was completely covered by bed and could not move bed in anyway to reach the outlet. A lovely site. The house is old but charming, food and staff outstanding. The history behind the house is very interesting. I would recommend updating maintenance, linens, and mattresses, maintaining the charm of place but giving it a "refresh".

It was a quaint inn with an attached pub and restaurant which was very convenient. It has lots of parking and is located in a spot that make it easy to explore in different directions. We went to Port Isaac, Port William, and Tinagle while we were there. The staff was all great!
