"Near blickling hall. Good food. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Nice walks. We made use of a NT Explorer 4 day pass. Lots to do around blickling hall. Free parking."
"Beautiful hotel. Clearly a labour of love and wonderful to stay in a building with local history. Quiet and peaceful despite being in the town centre. Lots of great food and drink options nearby. "
"This was one of the most unique places I have ever stayed. A beautiful, well equipped room with a great view of the marshes. We stayed on a Sunday and booked a hamper for tea. It was so delicious! I highly recommend Cley Windmill as a great place to stay in a lovely place\

"Great easy stay, lovely staff, lovely dinner and good breakfast. Shower pressure not great in the panelled room but otherwise a good stay. Nice 8 km local walk nearby ."

Cherry Tree Cottage is set is in the idyllic village of Briston.
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely cottage, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The information packs provided were very comprehensive and helpful. The front and back garden was beautifully kept, adding to the charm of the property. Inside, the single bedrooms were bright, spotlessly clean, and the beds very comfortable. There was great attention to detail throughout – including a thoughtful welcome gift on arrival. Basic essentials like salt and pepper, dishwasher tablets, and cleaning products were all provided, which was a really helpful touch. The neighbours were also very friendly. Highly recommended!"
"Stayed in room 17 of the Lawns annexe, a few minutes walk from the hotel. Room was large, quiet with superking bed and nice walkin shower. Parking on site. Breakfast was good and all staff friendly and helpful. Fresh milk for tea always a nice touch
Would have been handy to offer an umbrella in room as walk to hotel in rain not ideal Would certainly return"
"If you enjoy a quiet and relaxing break in the countryside this is for you.
The pub at the end of the drive deserves a visit too :)
Highly recommended intend visiting again."
"Lovely site, with new shepherds huts and yurts being adds to the site.. work is ongoing but done respectfully.
Very peaceful with no WiFi, no phone signal or TV.. which was a plus, sat into the night by the fire pit talking playing cards etc. "
"We had to abandon our stay at this property due to the extensive mould and mildew and general lack of cleanliness. We would not recommend staying here.
The master bedroom had mildew on every wall, and the bedding was stained from past instances of black mould.
The bathroom plumbing has an issue - it stank of blocked drains and there was mould around the bath. A mirror had fallen off the wall in the second bedroom and was broken on the floor.
Thick grey dust and dead bugs were in every room. The whole house smelled of damp. We had to vacuum the property from top to bottom and disinfect surfaces.
Previous reviews talked about mould being painted over. Can confirm that this is there, and that it appears to have come back. We've stayed in older properties before, and know that they can have some issues (we even live in one, so know how quickly dust can gather) but this property needs more than 'a bit of TLC'.
It took the letting team over 24 hours to find a solution, eventually giving us a full refund. The local team's communication was poor, and they did not keep us updated. They did not come out to see the property. "
Stunning country house and garden in Holt on the North Norfolk coast
10/10 Excellent
"We absolutely loved the house and gardens. We wish we had booked longer to spend more time hanging out together there.
Great for kids with the trampoline and large football pitch to run around on.
Not far from the coast and lovely local villages + walks.
Great to socialise in the evening in the different lounge areas and the hot tub was great!
