Hotel Riu Plaza Toronto

Hotel Riu Plaza Toronto

8/10 Good
"2 Sr ladies in a deluxe room ($2,723) for 5 nights. Room had 2 Queen beds and 1 chair. We asked for another chair - there Policy is 1 chair per room. As Seniors sitting on the bed to read, have coffee, play cards is just too uncomfortable for our old backs! We asked for even a stool, asked 3 times - they would not budge. All those empty rooms and they would not move a chair for 5 days! Will not be back!"

"Beautiful hotel, very clean everywhere. The pool and gym were great, would absolutely stay here again. Great value for the price, which was very reasonable! Parking on site which was a necessity for our family."

Embassy Suites by Hilton Toronto Airport

Embassy Suites by Hilton Toronto Airport

10/10 Excellent
"This hotel property is highly recommended for travellers for its location and convenience. It has free airport shuttle, which is very convenient and appreciated by guests. The hotel breakfast is delicious with a variety of options like having an omelette station, eggs, bacon, sausages, cereals, bread, pastries, etc. There are many restaurants and fast food options nearby. It’s steps away from a bus stop, wherein we took the bus to visit Square One Shopping Center. The property is very clean and well maintained. Our hotel room is clean and spacious with modern amenities plus excellent Air conditioning. The washroom has shampoo/conditioner/soaps/etc. Shower pressure is wonderful. The hotel staff are pleasant, courteous, professional, friendly. We had an amazing stay and experience in this hotel! Thank you!"

"It was a very nice hotel and everyone was very nice and friendly. Getting water down the hall everytime was a little inconvenient. Wish they would provide bottled water. If you are not use to downtown Toronto they have a bike path right next to sidewalk. I was not aware of this seeing I’m from the US. Canada puts bikers before actual pedestrians. A biker ran into me and knocked me to the ground and then proceeded to cuss me out. There should be signs up warning people of these bike paths. Plus there were a bunch of vehicles parked on the left side so, they come flying out of no where! The bikers should be told to slow down especially when riding in front of hotels. I will be following up with the mayor who probably won’t care because it is Canada. Maybe I will phone President Trump!!"
