"The property is a bit dated but clean and maintained. The poolside area was nice and clean. The complementary breakfast buffet was great. There was a good variety of food options; fresh and tasty! The one thing that I would recommend is 24hr coffee service in the lobby area. We had a 5:50am shuttle pickup and wasn’t able to get coffee. I even popped into the buffet area to request a cup of coffee and was told that I needed to wait until 6:00am even though there were several employees there preparing for opening. "

"House and the overall property was very good with excellent views. Had good clean linen and towels. It would have been good if they had left few Kitchen paper rolls and had a dish washer installed. The main problem we faced was that the Jacuzzi never worked for the whole two days that we were at the property. While the host (Alex) was very responsive and tried to get it to work, it never worked, this was a big let down. "

"The owner greeted us with a beautifully set table with a fresh loaf of bread, butter and an assortment of tees and fresh coffee. They assisted us with information to local stores and restaurants. The house looks just as shown on their site. It is located in the highlands approx 40 min drive from the airport, in a quiet neighbourhood. The house is equipped with everything to make the stay worry free. The instructions offered by the owner were precise and complete. The kitchen and livingroom are nicely appointed with a working wood burning fireplace that may be needed on the occasional cool nigh. Be mindful that the house is located at an elevation of 1840 meters. We used this location as a midpoint for visiting the Poas volcano and La Paz Waterfall and the Irazu Volcano in the opposite direction. There is a very large bedroom with bathroom on the main floor and two bedrooms and washroom on the upper level. There is a third washroom on the main level. All bedrooms have large windows with Costa Rican views. The entire house was spotless. A maid service is available for laundry. We had a nice stay and would not hesitate to return."
