Cozy Rustic Cabin with Wonderful Views of the Smoky Mountains

Rustic 3 bedroom 3 bath home with beautiful views of the Smokey Mountains from the front deck. Master bedroom with king bed is on the main level with wonderful views of the mountains, two more bedrooms with private baths are upstairs with king beds and views of the mountains as well. Awesome location adjacent to Laurel Valley but on it's own 2 acre lot for privacy. Mountain views from every room! Large TV in living room with VCR and DVD player and library of movies to enjoy. Large wrap around deck with hot tub, gas grill and outdoor dining adjacent to kitchen.

Townsend Area: Townsend is the Peaceful Side of the Smokies, Close to the Tourist Towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but away from the Traffic and Noise. Local Restaurants and shops provide all you need and the National Park is just 10 minutes away!

Extensive brochures available for you to review in the home. Table games, puzzles, cards, books, DVDs and VCRs for your indoor enjoyment, but you will not want to be inside when you can be enjoying our mountains! Come home and relax in the hot tub. Enjoy!
Each bedroom has private bath and awesome views of the Mountains. Each bedroom has RokuTV and Wireless Internet. Master Bedroom has private entrance off of deck. Quilts and blankets on every bed to match the decor of the room. Dressers, chest of drawers, large closets and other areas to hang clothes, as well as luggage racks. There is a iron and full-size ironing board available in the downstairs bedroom closet.

Our property offers rare easy access for a cabin with such awesome mountain views. Driveway gives access for loading and unloading and there is plenty of level parking. We offer Roku TV and High Speed internet access with wireless. You hope you relax and enjoy our mountains but if you need to keep up with your email, we have you covered there too. Come to the Mountains and relax and enjoy our home! Our property has external cameras that monitor and protect our property.

Beautiful & Comfy Mountain Cabin!

We enjoyed our 4 day get away to visit with family & friends! Plenty of space to be together and also private time. Very clean, excellent communication from the owners and everything we needed! We would definitely do it again!

Bronco celebration

This was the perfect location, the cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. The air conditioner went out during our stay and they got someone out within hours and had it fixed. We really appreciate that!

Perfect home for a family!

This place suited our needs so well. I had my family of four and my mom and dad stay and it was perfect. Great for kids with games and movies. The view was amazing and ofcourse Townsend is our absolute fav! Highly recommend this rental.

Beautiful Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin, it was a perfect size for our family of 5. The location is perfect with easy access to townsend and cades cove. Very minimal travel to main townsend road which is hard to find. We will definitely stay again.

Cozy cabin in Townsend

Stayed at the cabin with two other couples over the weekend for a friend’s wedding. The cabin was plenty big enough for six adults and had everything that we needed to enjoy our weekend. We loved being so close to Townsend and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Quiet cabin on the quiet side

Great cabin on the quiet side of the Smokies. Great deck and view to sit out and just enjoy the mountains after long days of "exploring".

Quiet but close to town

Nice, quiet location just a short drive to the restaurants of Townsend and the park entrance near Cade's Cove. Nice deck for grilling and relaxing. The fire pit was a nice bonus.

Thanksgiving in the Smokies

This cabin was everything we had hoped it would be. Beautiful from top to bottom with a great view of the mountains. Spending Thanksgiving with the family in the Smokies at this cabin was like being in a Norman Rockwell painting. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Nice, quiet place to stay

Far enough away from pigeon Forge to feel like you’re in the country, but close enough to go and do touristy things for the day. Great beds. House next-door is closer than I expected but the divider fence obscured view of hot tub. Nice fire pit below the house.

This cabin was beautiful with stunning views of the mountains from the front deck. Everything was very clean and the kitchen is fully stocked. Nicely tucked away from the noise of Gatlinburg and the surrounding area, but close enough to get to in a short time. Communication with the owner was great. We will definitely be back!

Knotty Pine Cabin is a gem

Our family absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful cabin with the gorgeous Mountain View. It’s secluded, private, and peaceful yet minutes away from a grocery and dining if needed. There’s plenty of gorgeous hikes and parkways within minutes as well. The owners are absolutely wonderful and secretly surprised us with new year goodies to celebrate in style. We couldn’t be happier.

Girls' Weekend Getaway

We stayed her for a 4 day getaway. Absolutely loved the home. Very well stocked. Very clean. Loved having a bathroom with every bedroom. We enjoyed sitting on the large deck in the rocking chairs with the beautiful mountains off in the distance. Location was great. Easy drive in any direction. Would love to come back and stay in the wintertime to enjoy the fire pit and hopefully see some snow! Mary Jane was a gracious host!

Very nice place with great view!

We all definitely enjoyed our 6 night stay. We had two opportunities to see bear on the property. One time the bear was in the woods behind the house walking down and the next day it came up the driveway between our cars and up into the woods behind the house. Another time we saw a bear was when we were having a bon fire and it walked from the woods across the street to another house to the left. This house has great views and is very well taken care of. Really enjoyed the upgraded downstairs shower. Also has very comfortable beds. Very nice kitchen and balcony.

Exceeded expectations!

We had an INCREDIBLE time! The pictures of this property don’t even do it justice! The cabin and view were both absolutely stunning! We visited the Tuckaleechee Caverns, upon the owner’s recommendation in her welcome/info binder, the second day we were there and had a blast! We wouldn’t have even known about it had she not recommended. Not to mention how close this location was to Cades Cove, which is where we spent most of our visit. I would give this location/cabin/owner 10 stars if I were able. We will most certainly be back! Thank you for everything Mary Jane!

A Great Base for a Week Hiking in the Smoky Mountains

Knotty Pine Cabin was perfect for our little group during our visit to the Smokys. The three bedroom/three bathroom configuration was ideal for three couples. Plus there was plenty of seating out on the front deck as well as around the dining table. The living room was a little tight for six adults, but we made it work. Hey, we spent most of our time on the deck or around the dining table, so not an issue at all. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The kitchen was good sized and the cooks in the group found it to be more than ample. The bathrooms were also well sized and well stocked. I found the bed in the downstairs bedroom to be very comfortable. The wifi worked well. We never turned on the TV, so I have no idea about the reception (hey, I was out on the deck as much as possible, so no time for TV!). Don’t worry about the driveway or parking. We had three full-size pick-up trucks and there was plenty of room. Yes the driveway is a little steep but I think any vehicle can make it up the hill. The location was great. Remote enough for an outstanding and unobstructed view, plus plenty of wildlife, but close enough to Townsend to be convenient for a quick trip to the grocery store, restaurants and the wine shop. We only tried one restaurant in Townsend, the Abbey, but the food was great and the beer was very good. Back to the wildlife, we were serenaded by song birds everyday, and had a family of bears (mom and three cubs) walk right across the back porch, circle the house and exit across the driveway. That was one of many highlights of the stay. We spent most of our time in the park in the Cades Cove area. Drive time from the cabin to the start of the loop road through Cades Cove is about 45 minutes. From there, it just depends on the traffic. In the morning when we were heading to the trailheads, the traffic was not too bad but in the afternoon and evening when we would cruise around looking for wildlife, there were a lot of cars, so it took a while. But that was fine, as we were out just enjoying the sites of the park. We also hiked the Ramsey Cascades trail, on the east side of the park, Another great hike. Drive time to that trailhead was about 1:20. Overall, we found Knotty Pine Cabin fit our needs perfectly. I would definitely stay here again during our next trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
