Modern Mountain Retreat with EV Charger and Garage

  • Summary:

    We've created a cozy, private mountain experience with easy paved access, close to everything the Smoky Mountains has to offer, plus free LEVEL 2 EV charging for guests with electric vehicles (BYO Adapters). All new modern furniture and bedding, a top-tier kitchen with stainless appliances and granite counters, and a new super luxe tile/glass shower all come together amidst hand-hewn wood walls, nestled among tall peaceful old-growth forest.



    The Space:

    Guests will receive their personal code to the front door as well as the gate code 24-hours prior to arrival.



    Guest Access:

    Codes are provided to access the gate and house 24-hours prior to check-in.



    The Neighborhood:

    Quiet, gated neighborhood, with old growth forests, a golf course, and lots of beautiful areas for hiking/biking. Just 6 minutes from "downtown" Townsend by car.

We loved staying at this cabin. It was far enough away from Townsend to be very private, but close enough to easily find all of the businesses and restaurants for our entertainment. It was also a great destination to visit the Eastern section of the Smokey Mountains including Cades Cove and other nature hikes and walks to get close to the natural wonders of the park. The fully stocked kitchen was greatly appreciated, along with the roomy bathroom situation. And we had plenty of room to spread out and just enjoy getting away from everything.

First time planning a trip through vrbo and I'm really glad I selected this cabin. It's located in a town on a quieter side of the Smoky Mountains National Park. Hosts were great and really good with communication. The cabin was clean and fully stocked with what you'd require for a vacation/getaway trip. The added security of having a garage is a bonus and much appreciated. I will rent again if I make a trip to the area, and highly recommend it for single people travelling to the area.

Great out of the way spot. Hosts were especially accommodating. Clean and comfortable cabin in a quiet neighborhood 15 minutes from the park. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay

Such a cute and cozy cabin with every amenity you’ll need. In close distance to the National park. Townsend is certainly the peaceful side of the Smokies. We will return.

Quiet Get Away

Place was nice to comeback to after spending the day hiking in the mountains. Relax in Jacuzzi to recover and start the next day fresh. Would recommend to others. Definitely a place we would return to stay.

Secluded and Peaceful

We really enjoyed the privacy and secluded nature of the property. The town was close (about 5 minutes) and drive was scenic. Loved the wood burning fireplace and quiet of the woods. Would love to return someday!

This is a Gem of a Cabin

This cabin/home is a little gem hidden in an enchanted forest in Laurel Valley.. the check in was simple, the place was clean, and it had all the amenities we needed plus a great deal if privacy. Not ti mention the kindness of the property owners. Would definitely stay there again,

We had a lovely time; cabin was great; kitchen was outfitted nicely; we appreciated the Smoky Mountain hiking books on the shelf; Cades Cove trails are nearby; rivers, trails and mountains were beautiful; played Scrabble; enjoyed Company Distilling and Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro in Townsend; recommend visiting Mabry-Hazen House for historic house tour in Knoxville (and there are others) on your way over : ) ; owner was responsive to our questions!

Hidden Gem

We felt so lucky to stay here and enjoy this cozy cabin. It had such a balance of country charm and modern fixtures and ambiance. What an amazing little cabin! It truly is stunning and top notch. If you are looking for a romantic getaway this is it! We spent our 1st anniversary here and it was perfect. Super clean and well kept. Owner’s were very easy to work with. We will definitely be back! ❤️

Very nice

We’ve come to this cabin for several years and have no plans to book any other. It is in a beautiful location, quiet, nestled in a little cove, and very clean and well maintained, with the best of appointments for your use. The cabin is equipped with almost anything you would find at your own home. It is a most enjoyable place to spend some time.

Charming

A favorite cabin in Townsend. Quiet neighborhood near a golf course. Kept the natural boulders in yard -- charming. Exceptionally clean inside. Host thinks of the small things like extra remote batteries and snow shovel and kitty litter! Tasteful yet minimalist decor so you have surfaces for your things. Appreciate her hospitality and communication.

Perfect hideaway

My wife and I wanted to take a trip to the Tennessee for the thanksgiving holiday like we normally do. Places that allowed pets either wasn’t available or was way over priced. This amazing place was available and allowed us to check in in thanksgiving. We were in aww of the location and property. We wasn’t allowed to use the fire place but that didn’t affect how we feel about this place. Plus Jeromy the owner did an excellent job communicating whatever I needed. Can’t wait to book again.

Cute Cabin

Cabin was really well appointed and decor was beautiful. Loved the deck with lights. Very private and we saw a large black bear in the woods just below our cabin. With that said, there were a couple of issues. First, the shower doors would not stay closed. You have to hold door shut with one hand and bath with the other! Also, the cabin was damp and kind of musty smelling. There was actually mold growing on the kitchen pot holder. Cabin really needs a good dehumidifier. All in all, still a nice stay for the money.

Cades Cove

Revisiting Cades Cove after 40 some years and also went to the Bush Beans Factory that was only 45 ish miles from cabin ..took tour of museum and ate there wonderful restaurant and bought some wonderful gifts in gift shop .. Got some good photo ops and Kodachrome moments.. Also made trip to the Applewood Barn restaurant in Pegion Forge and gift store next door to restaurant..it’s a must see and we go every visit to area..
