"Fabulous hotel - almost Belmond but not quite.
Rooms are excellent (must comfortable beds with down pillows). Breakfast is superb. Pool service a bit sporadic but overall the staff were wonderful. "
"Beautiful property with a great wine tour. Breakfast was delicious as well and it had a nice bar. There are wild peacocks and pea hens running around and the spa has some unusual treatments. Loved this stay!"

"Quinta Nova is a beautiful Quinta in spectacular surroundings. It is very comfortable and the service is impeccable - probably the best welcome of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The restaurant was also excellent - with enough choice for 3 fabulous meals even though the menu didnāt change during our 3 night stay. The walking trail around the vineyards is superb and a real highlight of our stay. "

I read some of the comments about five star hotel in previous reviews while the hotel itself may not be a five-star the staff and the service is easily five-starā¦ I laugh at some of the commentsā¦. if you want little slippers and matching housecoat, look like a prince and princess, then go to Palaceā¦ the meals were suburban with the first class chef from Brazilā¦ when I came to the restaurant bar you couldnāt want more for service and qualityā¦. awesome place for a weekend getawayā¦ so inconvenient to get to some of the winery for tastings, but make the best of itā¦."

Brilliant check in with friendly staff . We were hot and sticky being 37.c
The large pool was open and welcoming
The rooms clean and well equipped . Just one of our party had a plumbing issue with the shower
Breakfast was beautiful with loads of fresh fruits and yoghurts . Plus hot food if you wanted . Staff very friendly
On our second night we ate the restaurant in the hotel. Although very busy with a large group the staff were great and one of the best meals was had by all. Our group of seven throughly enjoyed the hotel has many antique artifacts as is like a living museum
