"Lovely historic hotel in an absolutely stunning coastal setting. Close to walks and the village of Port Isaac. You must like hills. The views are breathtaking. The hotel is part of an excellent local restaurant and a well-loved and cozy pub. We found the staff very friendly and helpful from start to finish. Breakfasts were opulent, and the quality of the food at night equally high. The building's historic character means that tall people should watch their heads on occasion, and the rooms are not always large, but they do try to provide an excellent bathroom and some electrical outlets. This is not a place for people who expect faceless modern conveniences. But if you like lovely casement windows and a warm atmosphere, definitely the tops."

"The view and setting really made the trip and the staff were so lovely, kind and helpful! Watching the sunset each evening outside on the rocks was glorious. The complementary breakfast was really great, fresh baked croissants and a list of hot options. The rooms were clean and basic but just want was needed really. The location was fantastic for some great walks and sightseeing. I really enjoyed our 2 nights there and would go back."

"We turned up and there was already a family in the property, we had no way of contacting someone and the family kindly gave us the owners number who contacted us the next day but the night we arrived we were left stranded after 4 hours of driving with no where to stay with 3 young children. I would not book again "

"What a lovely place. Comfortable beds and both bedrooms havw en-suite, 2hich was a bonus. Kitchen was really well kitted out and it was lovely to find dog bowls, matt and towel ready to use on arrival. Very dog friendly with enclosed garden. We made full use of the free view TV and wood burner in the evenings. Lovely location on a farm. Host was really friendly and accommodating. "
