Amazing house and garden
We had a lovely, relaxing week in this house and we can’t recommend it enough. Spotlessly clean, very spacious and with everything you need to make it feel like home. The only thing missing is a microwave. There is very little to no phone reception and whilst there is WiFi it wasn’t very good, but we saw this as a positive. The garden and patio area is also large and well equipped, it was great to sit out and listen to the peace and quite and wildlife.
The pool is a freshwater pool which is filtered through plants and not heated, the colour might put you off but it’s nice and refreshing and leaves your skin leaving lovely, you often see baby newts, frogs, dragonflies around the edges near the plants. We all loved the pool and were lucky with the weather too.
The location is great for exploring all the local Cornish beaches but it is definitely not walkable. The road is a small country lane only as wide as a car. There is parking at the property.
The owners live just up the road and own the other properties nearby, we didn’t see anything of them except on the day that we arrived.
Overall we had an amazing holiday, and would love to come back, although the price has massively gone up.
