"Comfortable, well cared for and equipped up north cabin. We would be happy to stay there again. Bass lake is beautiful! We enjoyed swimming, kayaking and birdwatching. Hearing the loon call over the lake was a real treat."

"We were looking for a quiet retreat from a busy lifestyle and that is exactly what we found. I could not give 5 stars for interaction with staff because we didn't really "see" anyone but we did communicate by text and the person was very prompt and always helpful. Check-in was super easy. Cabin #5 was large enough to be comfortable, had everything we needed, the bathroom was nice. It was a lovely property to walk around outside and enjoy nature."

"Lovely cabin in the woods, We loved the walk to the river and the seating area, very peaceful and relaxing. The cabin was fully equipped, beautifully designed and dog friendly which is rare for such a nice place! It was spacious and had such a charming feel to it. The most comfortable futon ever. We would definitely come back."

"We had a wonderful time in this clean and comfortable home in the shore of Michigan’s Green Lake. The view of the lake was gorgeous, and we enjoyed exploring the lakeshore via kayaks and paddleboard. (We rented a boat, too, who’s was fun.) The host, Mike, was very accommodating and went out of his way to inform us of local restaurants and attractions."

"The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Hard for me to remember, but there were a lot of little extras that made the stay very nice. Location was extremely convenient. Very close to the wedding venue that we came to visit and reasonably close to traverse City. I definitely recommend Papa's place for anyone visiting the area."
