"The free breakfast was good, had a lot of choices. The shower head needs to be replaced in room 203. The pond and the grounds were beautiful. Loved the ducks which for 50 cents you can feed them. Loved the free toy fish. We will definitely stay there again. "

"The breakfast was great, with many choices, including fruit, yogurt, eggs, bacon, sausage, and a cool machine that makes small, tender pancakes that are almost like crepes (great with nutella on them). A machine makes a variety of tasty espresso drinks at the push of a button (grinding the beans for each serving). The pool, hot tub, courtyard and garden area are beautiful, well-maintained, and spacious, with plenty of seating and walkways throughout. The room was nice, with a sleek, modern feel in the main area that included a small couch, coffee table, and an armoire."

"There is mold on the shower floor and walls.The yard was full of weeds but a nice neighborhood. Probably the worst yard for that neighborhood. No pillow cases but just shams on the pillows, no top sheet on the bed and no duvet cover on the comforter. How do you know if they are washed? Only saw 1 washcloth for two people but maybe I missed it. Husband’s back was killing him in the morning so he took a long shower which caused the smoke alarm to go off. It is installed right outside bathroom door!?!?"

"The only thing I can complain about is that the coffee in the lobby was not fresh and lukewarm at best. But - it was 3:30 am so.... Other than that it is a nice hotel and convenient to get to the Santa Barbara airport."

"This is a lovely place to stay, I would stay again! The rooms are very nice and clean. We had smores by the fire and ate in the bar, good food and the staff is so friendly and kind. "

"We stayed over spring break and expected a luxury experience given the price and brand, but the stay was inconsistent. The room had multiple maintenance issues: discolored tile near the toilet, worn mirror trim, a toilet handle that did not flush properly, and a lamp that did not work. The seating area near the door was also cramped and poorly arranged. Housekeeping was unreliable. One day the room was not serviced until mid-afternoon, requiring us to wait. Another day it was not serviced at all, leaving us without toilet paper, towels, or toiletries until we followed up. Communication was also an issue. We called the hotel multiple times at different hours and received no answer, which meant walking to the lobby to resolve problems. Some amenities did not meet expectations. The bluffs path was closed but not disclosed. The kayaks were dated, and the beach had noticeable tar and debris. The on-site market had limited drinks and snacks. Costs added up quickly. Valet is mandatory at $75 per night with no self-parking, plus a $60/day resort fee regardless of use. The location is beautiful, and the valet staff were excellent, but overall the experience did not match the price."
