The property is located in a well kept garden next to a small but beautiful beach. Rooms are well kept and relaxing. The staff are fantastic and always willing to accommodate requests. Food was excellent, particularly the Sri Lankan breakfast. The menu has increased and has a great selection of Western and Asian dishes but is quite expensive.

The property is situated on the sea front with a private beach, each morning we sat at the table overlooking the sea and had the most delicious breakfast, the egg hoppers were a delight and a great start to the day.

Fantastisk smukt sted med meget sødt personale

Vi boede fire nætter på Satin Doll. Det var fantastisk smukt! Både huset, haven og udsigten. Kun fire værelser, så man kan ofte være de eneste gæster. Utroligt søde ansatte på hotellet - hjælpsomme og venlige. Eneste minus var, at der sjældent var drikkevarer (øl, hvidvin) i huset.

Amazing stay, a different holiday feeling

It is not a hotel, you are not staying in a typical hotel. You rather accepted the invitation of a rich friend / relative and you are spending a week at his / her mansion, just right on the shore of the Indian Ocean. Your a guest in a huge house. You will be served at all times, but staff is not annoyingly around. Only 10 guests, maximum, looked after by a staff with the same number. This is called LUXURY! And you are just a couple of kms from the historical City of Galle.
