"Great location and a lovely place to stay. Very powerful and hot shower which was nice. The only thing that was somewhat bizarre was you get no big towels to dry yourself after a shower, only a couple of ones about the size and consistency of tea- towels! In over 35 years of travelling, I have never not had proper towels in my room!"

"Lovely hotel with excellent staff - we loved our stay - however the room can get really warm and the temp dial didn’t work for us - otherwise a great place to stay with an extensive breaks fast buffet selection - possibly one of the best I have had. I also want to mention that my husband lost on of his headphones in an obscure hole under the vanity in the bathroom and the staff went out of their way to retrieve it. We had lost hope but they somehow managed to get it out for us. So grateful"

"Great location, very friendly staff and some handy extras - umbrellas to use in torrential rain; postcards, stamps and a postbox; self-service coffee throughout the day and an excellent breakfast. "What a beautiful, peaceful spot, well maintained, with tasty breakfast prepared by the most welcoming hosts!! It’s not everyday you wind up staying one night and yet kissing your hostess goodbye in the morning, is it?? They lent me an umbrella. They gave me grapes. They walked me to my uber as I was leaving and made sure the driver went the right way. I said I was not too hungry for breakfast and yet I ate the whole thing. Stay here. They are the best. And the bed was divine."
