Liked: Staff & service, amenities
The staff was excellent. Friendly, helpful, responsive, and efficient. Hotel Killa was in a great location for me and it was easy to check in and get settled after a day of travel. The breakfast was simple, but tasty. I appreciate the made-to-order eggs. Fresh and quick. I wasn’t super happy with the room, unfortunately. After I came back from dinner, there were hundreds of little fruit flies on the duvet. I was able to get the situation resolved. There is also a stronger than usual smell of sewer. (I have smelled it in many of the hotels in Peru.). It wasn’t offensive, just noticeable. I kept the bathroom door closed. These may have been deal breakers for some, but all in all, balanced with the pros (cost, location, and helpful staff), it was something I could do for my one-night stay.
