"Just had a 3-night stay at ION City. Staffs were all friendly and amazing. Location is in the core downtown tourism area of reykjavic so that could be pro or cons depending on what you like. It's a little bit loud outside especially if the room is towards the street, but window is reasonably sound-proof. One issue was that when I first arrived there were a few blood drops in the bath towels, but after I raised that issue the room service was all good for the rest of the stay. Overall 4/5. "

"What a fabulous place to stay. We really enjoyed our time there and found it a convenient location to walk to downtown Reykjavík while also being close enough to free street parking. "The entire staff were amazing! Aleksandra checked us in and was awesome! Everyone we encountered from there was just welcoming and nice. The room is small but clean and cozy and the shower was hot and had great water pressure….not to mention a towel heater!!!! The hotel also booked our taxi from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the cruise port! And, I was able to pay for the taxi through the hotel! I definitely recommend this great hotel."

"We were a large group staying at hotel two days early for a cruise. We arrived at 11 AM and three out of the six rooms were ready, the other three were ready by 1PM. This was welcomed news after a redeye flight. Rooms were a bit small but comfortable. Very clean and comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful."
