"We came to visit my son. It's March so it's pretty dead and the main building is closed so we were in the Coveside. The room was nice, very clean and well maintained. The difficulty is of you l have an issue there was only someone on sight during the day. On the other hand, we got a really good deal. Staffing is the only reason I downgraded to 4 stars."

"The house was so perfect for our stay. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. The house is tasteful and unique in its decor. The kitchen was well stocked. It was very nice being able to walk to town for coffee, shops and dinner. Communication was friendly, prompt and easy. I would absolutely book again. Thanks!"

"From the very moment I stepped inside the front lobby, everything about AWOL was amazing. Check in was a breeze and the very kind lady gave me a nice detailed tour that was also somehow quick. She even included a map for me with some suggestions as I am not from the area. The room was cozy, clean, and everything we wanted when we booked our stay. The little fireplace inside the room was also a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed our stay here very much and I have been raving about AWOL to anyone who will listen! "

"We had a fantastic time with friends for Prelude and would definitely return. The trundles were tricky for our age group. Nobody wanted to get stepped on in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. The space and the layout is great. In the Winter months more lighting is needed in the Parlor and in the living room, we imagine in the summer the natural light is amazing and wait to return in the Spring for a family wedding! Kitchen is incredibly equipped and bathrooms were great never ran out of hot water or pressure with 8 women getting ready at once!! "

It’s perfect for multi families as there is privacy on all 3 floors. It’s a 5 minute drive to dock square- which is a huge bonus. They had every cooking utensil and tool you can imagine. We really appreciated all the thought they put into making it the best stay possible. We hope to come back in the summer because the view is gorgeous."
