⸻ The room was quite small and didn’t have a window — the only one was in the bathroom. The blanket looked extremely old, covered in lint, and felt unpleasant to the touch. There were no duvet covers, just a sheet wrapped around the blanket, which was uncomfortable and unhygienic. The room had a door leading outside to what was called a “terrace”, but in reality, it was a messy back area full of rubbish and parked bicycles. There were no tables or chairs, smoking wasn’t allowed, and anyone could easily look into or even walk up to the neighbours’ rooms, as all doors opened onto the same area. It didn’t feel safe or private. The neighbourhood also seemed quite rough — there was constant noise, shouting, and people outside at night. On the second morning, we were woken up by someone drilling into the bathroom shutters. Cleaning was poor: a long black hair was hanging from the shower head, and the magnifying mirror was rusty. The hairdryer was weak, there was only one chair for two people, and we got just one thin roll of toilet paper for three days. Breakfast wasn’t included, and to reach the room, you had to walk through the dining area. On the positive side, the room had very high ceilings with metal beams, plenty of wardrobe space, a working fridge, and a bidet. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was lovely, and the receptionist who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was just what we were looking for, comfortable and well-equipped. The location was also very convenient, close to everything we needed. The only issue was the shower; the type of wall surface makes it easy for dirt to hide, and it could definitely use a good scrub with some bleach. Other than that, everything was great. We’d definitely stay here again and hope the shower walls get a little extra attention next time!

Very disappointed in the breakfast. We had to choose a time to eat - 8, 9 or 10 am. We chose 8 am. Then we were ordered out by 8:40 am to allow them to prepare for the next group. Never experienced this before and it was very rushed and inappropriate!

Sauberkeit ist ein Fremdwort

Die Fotos sahen sehr vielversprechend aus, in der Realität bekommt man aber nicht annähernd das, was auf den Fotos versprochen wird. Man bekommt eine Dusche, die zu klein ist, um sich normal duschen zu können und die dazu mit Schimmel teilweise bedeckt ist. Das Badezimmer war allgemein in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Die Fugen sahen dreckig aus und das ist sehr untertrieben. Man wollte so wenig im Zimmer anfassen, wie nur möglich. Wir wollten im Zimmer nicht einmal barfuß rumlaufen, weil alles dreckig war und die Atmosphäre einer Gefägniszelle gleicht. Ein kleines Fenster mit einem kleinem Raum. Wir haben den Boden kurz mit einem Handtuch abgewischt, weil er vom Duschen nass war und das Handtuch war danach braun. Da kann man sich selbst ausmalen, wie ernst das Putzpersonal ihre Arbeit nimmt. Abgesehen davon werden die Handtücher nur gegen zusätzliche Kosten gewechselt, wobei ich mich frage, wofür ich überhaupt bei der Buchung bezahle, wenn alles extra kostet... Die Lage war jedoch sehr gut. In 3 Minuten hat man die Bushaltestelle erreicht, von der man nach Venedig fahren kann. Innerhallb von 10 Minuten erreicht man den Bahnhof, wo Züge und Buse fahren. In der Nähe gibt es einige Möglichkeiten auf die Schnelle etwas zu essen. Das Personal an der Rezeption war stehts freundlich und haben sich Mühe gegeben.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excelente ubicación, atención y limpieza Una excelente opción si quieres visitar Venecia sin tener que hospedarte en la isla. El Hotel Aarón está ubicado a solo 5 minutos caminando de la estación de tren de Mestre, lo que hace muy fácil y rápido llegar a Venecia. La zona es tranquila y bien conectada. La habitación estaba impecable, muy limpia y cómoda. La atención del staff fue destacada, especialmente Ricardo, quien fue muy amable y atento en todo momento. Muy recomendable si buscas buena ubicación, limpieza y un trato cordial.
