Joanne was always very helpful at the hotel desk and very responsive to our questions. Gigi and Normi(sp?) made wonderful cappuccinos at breakfast and kept us well fed. Francis kept our room very clean. The location of the hotel to the sites and shopping along with the staff made our stay in Venice a great time with family!

We had a lovely 6-night stay at Hotel Becher in mid-April! We had one of their basic rooms, which was small, but is typical of Venice. But the authenticity of the decor, the wonderful complimentary breakfast, the ideal location far outweighed the size of the room/bathroom. What we did spend extra on was the private boat they arranged to and from the hotel. It brought you right up to the hotel’s dock and prevented us having to carry luggage through the alleyways and over bridges- although our younger selves would not have minded! There is an elevator but there are only 2 flights of stairs so steps are minimal. The best part was the staff members Elena and Joanna who primarily helped us at Hotel Becher. They made us feel so welcome and Elena educated us on many things, giving us advice, and booking us a memorable Vivaldi concert. Hotel Becher was a wonderful base for our Venice adventures and our day trips to Verona, Lake Garda and Burano/Murano. I hope that we will be lucky enough to visit again one day!

Marco was very helpful and welcoming! He offered me a glass of prosecco or glass of juice (My choice) he make sure the last night of my stay I had transportation to the airport in the morning! The room was very pretty and accommodating! I love free breakfast everyday of my stay! Overall very happy and promising to go back!

Staff excellent .Hotel Reception exceptional .Room a bit tired and Bathroom screen for shower poor leading to flooding of Bathroom and hence peeling paint on bathroom door and woodwork.Shower needs to be replanned.Which is a shame as Cannel view for Junior Suite Exceptional.Breakfast not really up to standard and breakfast room to small for all guests to sit.However despite this would still recommend as Staff more than make up for interesting facilities and location Excellent.

Stayed there over 10 years ago and would continue to go back. Location and staff are an A+. My only disappointment was the mattresses are very firm for this old man. Still if we ever make it back to Venice, it will be at the Hotel Becher.
