Darya was the most pleasant hostess I have ever encountered. Loved all the restaurants and food was amazing. Beautiful short boat rides added to the experience
Amazing resort and location. very easy to get back and forth to Venice and it is about 5 minute shuttle away plus you get a full resort to enjoy. with kids this really helps give them a place to relax and burn off some energy in between sightseeing.
I love this place, staff are amazing, facilities great, my oasis of calm when visiting Venice which can be hectic at times. Everything about the hotel and grounds is superbly maintained.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Although recently reopening after a refurbishment, the property did not seem especially modernised and the room and public spaces were much the same as our previous visit 10 years ago, albeit with a decade’s more use.
The restaurant was incredibly overpriced, although the food was good, but the team were clearly very new and so service was inconsistent and missed bread, amuse bouche etc for some tables; wine list was forgotten and then the wine itself was not poured for 30 minutes until we asked for it to be opened. Those members of the restaurant staff who knew what they were doing were good but half the room of tables were unserved for 20-30 minutes at a time, so more than one table of guests walked out.
There are some nice touches like the kids room, bikes and it is great to have some quiet outside space in Venice. The boat service is great fun, although the gaps in the timetable often coincided with our needs to travel back with young children, unfortunately so we spent a lot on water taxis as well.
As a summary, the lovely property is let down by inconsistent service still finding its feet after reopening and tired feeling rooms which did not seem to have been refurbished at all, together with a very overpriced restaurant, so not worth the premium price overall.
It’s a great location to come back to after you have spent the day touring Venice. The hotel is on an its own island with great amenities and away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds, the hotel is 15 mins via water taxi provided by the hotel. It’s a great place for families.
We stayed at the hotel for three nights this week and had a truly wonderful and relaxing time. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the the staff were excellent as was the overall level of service. We are planning to go back next year and stay there longer .
It was a beautiful property. The rooms were large with high ceilings and a beautiful granite bathroom. The property itself was beautiful with lush foliage, pool and views of Venice. The staff are the nicest people.
Outstanding and unique property for Venice. Lots of space, gardens and, more importantly, impeccable service.
Gym and steam bath facilities could use a bit of improvement.
The hotel is beautiful and best described as old world luxury! High ceilings with crystal chandeliers, wide hallways, a grand staircase all located on a private island. The grounds are tranquil with lots of greenery and artwork! The views are gorgeous. The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom. The complimentary boat shuttle to San Marco dock is a great feature. The staff is excellent, catering to your every need. Our visit was wonderful and we would love to return!
Beautiful hotel for a summer stay in Venice - a haven from the heat and crowds - loved the pool as there were plenty of sunloungers and you could find a quiet spot on the lawns if there were noisy children swimming.
Service at the pool restaurant was quite slow and food over-priced but good quality.
Breakfast buffet was fabulous and nice to sit outside in the courtyard if desired. Drinks service could be better but staff nice and friendly.
Complimentary shuttle boat to Venice runs every 40 minutes starting at 9am - would be better starting earlier and running at least every 30 mins as long wait if you just miss it!
