"It’s an older property that is well maintained. Our first request was ignored by the staff, but it was a really busy time. They checked us in a couple hours early which was great. The handsoap was empty and the bathroom was tiny. However, the room was nice and clean and the view was excellent from our window. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. We ate at two of the restaurants and had the same waiter (Matthew). He was incredible and remembered us and my wife’s allergies from the night before. The location is quiet and not far off from Lake Louise or the highway to get to other locations. We would gladly stay here again but after seeing the Fairmont Lake Louise, we would probably fork out the additional money and stay there. The price was reasonable and they even had free mini-golf and s’mores in the evenings."
"This was an amazing experience. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I loved being able to text the concierge- they were able to move our dinner reservation for us via text. The view from the lake view room is without a doubt worth the cost!"
"The places convenient to both Morraine Lake and Lake Louise. The hotel itself is great, Mjoy and the rest of the employees were wonderful. Great place this day if you want to see all that happening, they go on and like Louise.
I will say one thing, we visited back in July 2018, and the amount of people at both lake Louise and Lake Morraine were considerably more. I would say that at Lake Louise, the shoreline was overrun, and I would be really disturbed with the amount of money. I paid this day at the Fairmont, in the amount of people that were in front of that view. We’ve been all over the world and we’re seeing a tremendous amount of people over running these tourist locations. From Santorini, to Barcelona, to Venice, and now BANFF, the culture of the towns is being changed."
"Emerald Lake Lodge is a magical place. We couldn’t have asked for anything more beautiful, more relaxing, and any better customer service. Keep up the great work you guys were fabulous."
